    Oh and I think Wes Bentley was in Underworld: Awakening (which Cyrus and Co-Host loved the same as I did)...but its totally understandable why they didnt remember him in that...cause he was literally there for like 2 min...1st min in the background...2nd min goin through a window basically...just like his career.

    You can tell why Hollywood continues to make bullshit like this...why you ask? WELL on facebook the other night, there were a bunch of seperate wall-posts saying "Going to see 'Gone'" including one that had comments under it between the poster and their friends saying "AW DAMN I wanted to see that!" then the poster replied "I'll see it again with you when you get back"..."oh was it good?"...'yea it was great!"

    I know everybody has their own opinions...but what I'm saying is, a bunch of people were excited to see this, and they are in their 20's. YES sadly thats all I ever see on facebook when people talk about movies..they mention the worst possible movies as "great" or "Im gonna go see it again"...while there are EXCELLENT movies still playing, The Descendents, Chronicle, HELL even Safe House was kinda crappy but still better than a lot of others out there.

    Oh...and one reason why Im even saying this, is there some of the SAME people who put posts up recently saying "watching Drive...this movie is so slow and boring, but Ryan Gosling is hot :) "....yea it was a girl lol.

    Very entertaining review, may catch this on HBO in a few months.

    What I found most funny I thought the same thing as Leon, when I saw the trailer for this movie and I saw that actor (the bad guy from the first Ghost Rider and odd kid from American Beauty) Wes Bentley I said, "That's going to be the killer."

    @Winter

    I see what you are saying, but the major difference here is two things

    1.You become a police because you choose to become one, you are not born into that. Police have authority and power, and they are suppost to be using the power to help and maintain order. Yet, there are many(not all) who take advantage of this power.

    2. It is not the person, its the job, the if I met your family out of uniform, our social interaction would differ greaty, then if they were in a uniform. Again due to that power of authority.

    If you had bad experience with black people, then that is your own personal experience. But their is not only a bad personal experience with cops, but a whole negative history of black folks and police. Police have a power, that others don;t.

    Thank you, Al.  Wish I could help you with the phone number; there's only one person from those days I still keep in touch with.  Great memories, though.  Had a tracing paper diffuser burst into flames in the appartment we were shooting one of our movies, had to run out and scrounge up a second can of 16mm because we didn't know squat about shooting ratios, and when it turned out to be positive stock (oppose to the negative stock for our assigned roll) and we never got the two cans cut together.  The workprint we DID get cut together looked like a soft porn movie because all the pivotal special effects and action shots were still in the damn lab.  By the time we got that back, the lab tossed out the negative for the first roll.  A total screw up but funny thinking back at it.  I still have that second uncut roll somewhere.

    I remember Esther asking a lot of questions and the two guys in our group got tossed by the women to make room for Esther, and based on our first film (silent, shot in sequence), the other guy was the best director and cinematographer (Fred something).  I wasn't a loss because I missed a floor full of wires and cables when I framed my section.

    There's a lot of racial politics within the police department. Racial profiling is a big deal in their line of work, look at Rodney King. Sure running from the pigs wasn't a smart move but them beating on him was the right solution? Come the fuck on son. Oh, and the movie doesn't look any good.

    Hmmmm, I actually want to see this movie now. Some B-level thriller, all it took was some style and interesting actress or setting. A guilty pleasure the (almost) straight to DVD thriller.

    @Alex Johnson
    I'm going to be controversial now, I know it, but I hope people see the good intentions behind it.

    To me, I don't see how hating all cops is any different to being racist.

    "I hate all black people, they are lazy, voilent and a waste to society!"
    "I hate all Police officers, they are lazy, voilent, and a waste to society!"

    Neither of these things are true. Both are offensive. Both are presented as being true, with evidence to back it up by people who believe it.

    Having bad experiences with black people, which happens more often than you'd think, hasn't made me racist, so having bad experiences with cops shouldn't taint you against them all. It's just ignorant.

    I'm sorry your friend was murdered Leon. I can understand why you hate cops so much.

    @ Winter (in no way am I trying to speak for leon,  has his own views and opinions)

    I get where your coming from, and I'm sure your family are good people, but the sad realty is cops have a mixed reputation, especially negative in many black communities. It has been poven that black people have a much harder time getting help from police, maybe it's bad cops....maybe the attutite of towards police have to change..but this is the fact.

    Honestly, I don't like cops either, my experience with them has rarely, if ever, been positive. Do I have a problem with your family no, do I have a problem with the job and how it has been carried out, yes.
