WHAT?!! How. The. FUCK! Do two Full Price's and a Matinee = RENTAL. WHAT?!! FUCK THAT! But seriously, you should probably change that to Full Price. It's kind of misleading.

I`m disappointed with the review and especially with the movie... In time when you saw this must have been in a streak of watching bad movies and this probably came to you as a refreshment... this movie does not deserve more than rental because it touches so many details and don`t explain any of them... If this is a full price than Shining should get a grade better than sex but with Megan Fox or someone like that... p.s. don`t forget to bring a towel!!!

Stopped being that interesting after like half the movie when they throw all the CGI in, it wasn't scary then but you felt like this lonelyness and emptiness which where about that horror genre direction of course, Matinee for me.

Full price! This was a solid horror flick. The build up so expertly done that I was already a little freaked before anything even happened. John Cusack was the perfect person for this film. He had a great balance of emotions and still found time for a little humor. I never get emotional during films, but near the end there is a scene between Cusack and his daughter that made me choke up slightly. Cusack was amazing in that scene. For a horror film to play with emotions that much says a lot about it's quality. The whole thing was creepy. The idea of being trapped in a room that exists in another realm is just freaky as hell. I think that would be my worst nightmare. There is a ten minute segment where your kind of not sure where the movie is going but then it pays off. Once you really understand what the room's goal is every little weird thing it does to mess with Cusack's head makes sense. This is the best ghost/haunting film in years.

How can anyone say this isn't FULL PRICE. One man holds a movie up for at least an hour by himself. And its not one of todays gore gore gore bullshiv that doesn't get you mentally scared. That just makes you go ew. How many of you were asking yourself if he was still in the room or not?

The buildup in the beginning was great but the movie stopped being scary after a while and just got boring imo. Sorry peeps but it's a rental for me.

a breath of fresh air. acting is great, keeps you interested, you like the character in the end. Doesn't rely too much on CG. It does tend to drag a bit in the second hal and there's some stuff i would have taken out like that cloth that comes out of the printer. I give it a Full Price!!

I'm not really interested in scary movies but based on what I heard, it sounds like people liked this movie.

I actually really liked this. Just rented it today. This is a creepy movie and just like the Spill Team said, the buildup of the room is extremely creepy and unsettling.

i saw this movie and i thought i should have gone to see it in the theater because it was that good. i really liked the way the room was messing with him and the fact that, at first, wasn't falling for it and had to be convinced that it was in fact the room and not someone pranking him. too often we see these movies when people are in haunted houses and they don't question the haunting enough. they accept it too quickly. i like the fact that this guy had to go through some serious crap because he finally admitted that it was the room. FULL PRICE!

Loved this movie, but why are the video review & written review different? In the video it's Full Price, but Rental in the written . . . why's that?

a bit disappointed in both the movie and sad to say your review. What rating did you give this movie? Please remember to rate the movies instead of just talking about the ghosts making people their bitches.

I am watching this movie as i write this, the music has just turned on without him touching it. i've gotta say that i like how the movie is starting, its majorly creepy as it bulds up to the action.

This movie kind of disapointed me. I was hoping for so much more. Like i wanted more insight into the people that killed themselves in the room before. Seriously there where 56 deaths and they only died three different ways? I think they could've done a few more things to really mess with him. And the end was lacking from me. I literally said, "That was it?" But it did have its good points. Someone rented it and i would walk in every once in a while and watch then leave when it started getting stupid again.

This is a cool flick. the part when he is at the post office and only to find out he was still in that room was the best part......5 stars

This film starts out good, with its build up initially the suspense is great and finally you think you may, just may have found a film that makes you bring out your good old friend Mr Cusion - I mean I was watching this on my own, in bed, about 2am, in the dark comtemplating turning it off to view the rest when the Sun was touching me with it's "safe" rays. But the second half, too many idea's such a small room....I think it just highlights the point that scary films are created through good acting, stage, story & music. Add in effects/CGI and it can take a layer away from any atmosphere that's built up turning stage into 'stage show' . Alround a good film just wish the makers had decided on what type of film they were making before making it.
