this was meh film.....high rental, not because woeful but because nothing in it, which makes it good enough to be more than that.

Starts off basically very strong, but then get into the kids storyline and just becomes meh. The main problem is that kids are simply not engaging enough characters to make me care about them and the adults in this film are just dumb, I mean straight out dumb.

-Oh I know, this woman is most dangerous person alive, lets not even bother putting a fing guard on her prison door

-Oh my wife is infected with this killer illness, lets just go and see her

Seriously, this one of those films where you feel the people diverse to die because so dumb

Zack Snyder kind of coppied the 28 days/weeks later zombies but set up different rules regarding how you turn into a zombie but there still practicly the same speedwise

I'm probably the only person I know that didn't like the original much (it was a bit unoriginal and kinda slow, plus I'm not a big fan of Cilian Murphy). And the music in this one... Wow. That music was pretty creepy. Good film, I'd give it a Full Price.

I'll probably take some heat for this but I actually liked this one better than the first. It was gorier, faster paced and scarrier. To me, the forced perspective, night scope scene at the end actually ranks as the scarriest scene in a zombie movie ever. It's also a bit more orginal than 28 days. How many zombie movies have we seen with a small group of survivors surrounded by zombies? While 28 weeks had the small, developed group of characters it also shows the wider world around them as London melts down. At the same time, it manages to tell the story of the tragedy of Don's family. Definitely Full Price!

This is definately one of my all time favorite movies. The Zombies disturbed the hell out of me and the ending took me by surprise and burned into my mind. It's somewhat tragic.

I like that creepy music. It so got into my bones i kept humming it for days later. Great movie and the first 2000's horror that got me scared besides SAW 1. Before the whole hype started. I never saw any Iraq reference. Guess it's because I'm not American.

i seriously think this movie blew, horribly, i mean..compared to 28 days later this movie sucked so bad. i bought it expecting to see what i saw with 28 days later, i really wanted these two kids to die the whole time. like first off, how much of a dumb military did they have there that could not stop two children from going out into the infected zone to find their infected mother THEN!! return with the mother and have her not quarantined.. so the father could walk in and KISS his wife that he watched get attacked by zombies. like hello!! i'd be glad too like oh thank god my wife is ok, but..she was with zombies, i think i'll do the logical thing and WAIT for tests to be done before shoving my tongue down her throat. THE FATHER, & KIDS pissed me off soo much, stupid military sniper who got burned i felt bad for and the dumb lady with the sniper night vision scope was horrible.
