Is it just me or does Leon have a huge mancrush on Christian Bale. Which is fine... because I do too.

Low better than sex. The spill crew put it perfectly: this is a movie to watch with dad. Characters are complex, scenes are well done, and Russell Crowe is amazing in this. Probably not a film women will think is great. However, if you are like me and have an agreement where if I watch a chick-flick with you, you have to watch an action movie... "I didn't hate (insert chick-flick) so I won't make you watch Kung-Pow or Commando again."

can't believe no-one gave this a better than sex, there weren't even any complaints, hopefully they'll look at this again, because this was a goddam top-notch movie! Definitely worthy of a better than sex, more so than cloverfield.

I guess it's a low full price for me. It's good for the most part but I had some trouble with Russel Crowe's character towards the end. I find it very unlikely that his character would have such a dramatic change of heart like that. I mean you could almost see the halo above his head. I just didn't buy it. Otherwise though this was a kick ass film. Christian Bale certainly raises the quality of just about every film he's apart of. Comparing to Tom Cruise makes my head spin. True Cruise has delivered some good work but for the most part Bale and Cruise's names should be separated by at least a thousand words. Christian Bale is a much higher caliber actor than Cruise. It shows in this movie. Good action, good story, good acting, good finale, mediocre resolution. Still almost perfect.

I know that Russel Crowe wants to expand his resume but I honestly wish he would just be content with making more "Master and Commander" movies. My family and I really liked the first one and think it could be a successful film series in the same way that "Sharpe" and "Hornblower" were.

I love you guys, but sometimes you say the stoopidest shit. Of course ladies will like this film and not for the reasons you state.

I loved this movie! One of my favorites of the year. Maybe I should have been born a boy. Yes, Christian Bale was hot..he's always hot..but the story itself was hotter. This is what Russell Crowe deserved a nomination for. I loved him in this..

i loved this movie...until the last scenes, where it just went to crap in my opinion...the ending just didnt make any sense and wrecked what otherwise was a great ride. So was a change of heart? was he bored? suicidal? wtf

This movie kicked ass! And no, I don't think you need to be a manly man who eats steak with his bare hands to enjoy this (though that was a funny image I admit). I'm a girl, I loved it, and not because of Russell Crowe or Christain Bale's "hotness". That's why my roomate wanted to see it. Me, I could have done with a little bit more of Vinessa Shaw :D

Wow, I didn't go check this out because I thought it was going to be your run of the mill boring ass attempt at life on the run/range. The reviews are sooo good except from Chebutykin, that I am absolutely going to check it out!

wait a second. one thing that didn't make sense: during the entire movie, the cops never once stopped to think, "Hey, shouldn't we put Crowe's hands chained BEHIND his back?"

Hey! I saw this movie and I'm a girl (last time i checked anyway) and this movie kicked ass because it was awesome, not because Russel Crowe and Christian Bale were "eye candy" :D

wait, wait, itsn't this a remake?...Maybe I am thinking of another movie. But until "The Dark Knight" comes out next year this will help fill my Christian Bale quota. Thanks for the reviews guys.

Loved the film. Russel crowe was hypnotic. The tension was thick in this film- kept me interested all the way through... I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. 5 stars from me.

Great movie, saw it last night. Ben Foster, who I never heard of before, did an amazing job. He smiles twice in the movie. The second time it tells something about him.
