  I Totally agree with Cory. I was not much of a fan the Alien and I always liked the Idea of the Predator. I went into the watching the first AVP movie and I was nervious. I actually at first only saw the first 70 minutes. But the movie fasinated me and I liked it. So obvisouly I went into the sequal excited and went "ugh". It was a real downer that took me 2 days to watch. It focused a little to much on the human characters without developing them in any way. It also took away the aspects of the first one that made it interesting. What made the first movie interesting to me was the almost (for the lack of a better word) religious aspects of the Predaors and that they have honor and it gave you a reason to root for them. The origional also gave a good ending that made you look forward to another movie. But the second movie as Cory said was just there using "Props" from the other movies. It also just felt like a whole bunch of monsters killing eachother. But I'm going a review lower and am going to say F**K YOU.

  I thought it was quite nice, i give it a matinee but this alien and predator hybrid was just stupid.Also i find it quite weird that one predator could kick all of those aliens asses. I don´t know, i just think that predator is not that mighty.

  ok i did not hate the movie but it could have been better. korey, u said that it did not have a orginal thought of its owne. even thou i agree their some things that you did not see befor. two of the wepons that predator uses the whip and the plasma hand gun. but i would give this movie a high rental for alien and predator fans. For people who love blood and gore matiee. the only thing that pissed me of about the moive is u got more alien then predator. i like alien, but i love predator

  I liked the alien hybrid but the rest of the movie is retarded, The Alien movies were amazing, and the same goes for the predator movies, and AVP had the potential of being a good movie. The Idea it self was a great idea. I loved AVP 1 exept when the predator sided with the humans. I think if the movie had remained a free for all battle, it would have been good. so I give the first AVP a strongly suggested "rental" or matinee if you're a fan of BOTH movies. the second AVP felt like a romance with Aliens and the predator on the side. so I agree with the Spill crew

  I rented this and it was disappointing! I didn't care about anyone in this movie. I loved the first, but this one was BLAH! It had so much potential. The predator and Alian warring it out on earth and its only in one town with peaple too stupid to care about. Still I'll give it a rental because it had blood, gore, and action to satisfy because the story shore didn't.

  I will admit I didn't go through all the responses to see if it had been brought up or not, but the reason the man was skinned was quite simple to understand. The Predator race has always been about big game hunting, there for because the cop pulled a gun on him the Predators instincts kicked in. The man became a threat and therefore was fair game. He was killed and skinned as a trophy. It was not pointless when you look at what kind of lifestyle the race lives.

  this would have been at least bearable if you just keept all the alien/predator fight scenes and no people at all. Why cant they make a movie where it IS aliens vs predator. Not aliens vs predator fighting and buttfuckers come in and try to fuck with them.
