    Call me crazy but I really enjoyed this film. It's no masterpiece. But it's fun, it doesn't take itself too serious. Compared to the Transformers movies, which are complete pieces of Shit all three of them, this one was fun. I liked the action, I liked the music. I enjoyed Taylor Kitsch in this role more than John Carter (which wasn't bad either). I liked it!

    Forgive me for saying this, but I honestly kind of like this film. Sure it wasn't GOOD, but it was fun to watch aliens blow stuff up. Plus, it had good homages to the board game, like the missiles the aliens shoot are pegs from the game. And at one point in the film, they use the hit and miss grid-style thing in the board game.

    this is a F**K YOU this is one of the most uninspired movies i have ever seen even the effects which are used for the blandest things i have ever seen. rihanna as an actor makes a good singer. script is cliched and acting is atrocious . plot holes everywere this doesnt deserve to make any money at all.

    Battle Ship was an OK movie yes the character introduction in the beginning may have seemed long but it was needed. this is a good Cheesy SCIFI Movie Granted it is nothing to write home about but the movie was not all bad. Yes it seemed as though the Aliens did not want to Kill US off all together seeing as they seemed to only Target military or possible threats but keep in mind this was just a small landing force whos Job  was to secure an area and get a single back home so the real force could Arvie.. Over all it was not to bad watching the fuck up rise to the challenge and come threw. There are some other points i could make but i dont have the time so ill leave it like. For me this was a fun little movie that I will be glad to add to my Cheezy SCIFI collection

    I will say that I dug the alien tech and the alien ships. I found it odd that the ships themselves basically coasted or "bellyflopped" along the ocean. And as far as the aliens are concerned, I wasn't expecting goat men. But some of the better action scenes delivered. I didn't find this movie as insulting to my intelligence as the Transformer films, or the curiously well rated Thing prequel.

    So, Taylor Kitsch is playing a fuck up for Peter Berg again. Granted, it worked on Friday Night Lights because Kitsch managed to bring a certain charm to Tim Riggins that made you see that underneath all of the drinking and terrible decisions, he was actually someone worth rooting for.

    The animations in this review cracked me up, especially the one at the start. Nice work, guys! Also, nice voices Korey, you, Co-Host and Billy are on par with people like Robin Williams when it comes to doing voices.

    Even if that is the case...I'm willing to bet that wasn't their intent going in. It's like when a movie that was meant to be taken seriously takes a turn into the "unintentionally funny" route. They wouldn't have gotten real life Navy vets and what not if they were intentionally going to paint them in a negative light. They probably wouldn't have come if they knew that was their intent. So Imma just chalk it up to dumbasses who didn't know what the hell they were doing and lazily slapped together this Transformers jerk-off-to-the-awesomely-awesome-military-awesomeness knockoff.
