I FINALLY saw Brave. I agree with Korey and Cyrus.

Good film, but not great. Improvement over Cars 2, but I still miss the old days of Toy Story and Up. This had good (but unoriginal) visuals, some good ideas in the story, strong characters, an ok but solid script (a little unoriginal), a few heart string moments, comedy up and down (strong with the 3 kids, but weak with the bear slapstick) and some good "Pixarish" morals and lessons. Overall, solid matinee.

    So, was that 20 secon-"BEEP!"

Matinee... Not as good as the other films, but it's okay. Pixar seem's to be losing it's touch though... One of the strangest plot twists I've ever seen too

Okay! Just to keep things simple:

PROS: A simple yet very entertaining story, interesting and humerous characters, a great setting, heartwarming moments

CONS: Too much slapstick, some poorly constructed side-characters, a tad too short

    HIGH MATINEE

To the new format: SOME OL' BULLSH@T!

Give me some free flowing conversation, please. OLD WAS GOLD, DON'T CHANGE!!

The format change is really growing and is a nice change of pace. As for the movie itself I'm with Cyrus 100%. One reason I love your guys reviews because even when you are split on a movie I can latch onto one of your opinions. Lately Cyrus and I have been on the same page for movies.

If I was never told this was a Pixar movie I'd swear it was Dreamworks. Between this and the Cars franchise the pristine Pixar armor is starting to show cracks.

I like the new style. I didnt like hearing the audio cuts on the old videos. It didnt seem like a smooth conversation like other things on Spill. This new format is funnier IMO.

I like the format change, guys. I had stopped watching the videos, because while I liked the animation, they were pretty redundant to the audio reviews that proceed them. This gives me a reason to check out both!

I really enjoyed the new format. I heard you guys mention it on ACOCO and thought I would check it out. This is the first time I've watched a video review in a while because I preferred the audio reviews, but if the videos are more like this I'll go back to watching them. Great job!

Holy crap, Leon's hair came off! Also liking the new format, as I'd stopped watching the video reviews a while ago since the audio versions were uncut. It would be neat if you kept trying different formats with different movies.

Well, at least curly-haired red-heads won't feel so bad about their wild mops of hair in future... :-)

Damn Korey, epic fail. Haven't seen the movie but it looks good and everything I've read commended the marketing for not spoiling the big stuff. Then BAM "shitty thing to do turnin' your mom into a bear". Korey=The Spoiler.

Hahaha "decent movie that Sixth Sense but shitty thing Bruce Willis was a ghost" or "damn, didn't mind The Prestige but it's wild there were really two Christian Bales" hahahaha terrible.

I don't normally watch the video reviews (stream podcasts while I'm working, so I prefer audio), but I had to interrupt ACOCO once I heard you guys mention the new format, and see what y'all were talking about! All I have to say is, YAY! awesome work. :D

To the haters: wish I could remember the exact quote, but I'm going to try to apply that optimistic philosophy about movie remakes: the original is still there; they can't fuck it up. You don't like the new video format? Everything that was used in the old videos is still sitting there waiting for you in the audio reviews. They're not taking anything away from you. In fact, they're adding something new and different, and honestly I think that's worth a lot more.... as well as them going to some trouble to do it.

So just... thank you, Spill Crew, for never trying to coast and always trying to improve, and giving us things that we asked for and things we didn't even ask for. I'm pretty sure we don't even deserve it. I almost feel like we'd only have a right to complain if we were all paying for this endless entertainment you provide, and even then, it's your own creative outlet and I think that gives you the right to do whatever you damn well please with it. Maybe that just makes me lucky that I enjoy it so much, but really... thanks for everything. <3

The new format is like Frosted Flakes. IT'S GREEEEEAT!

I like this format. Instead of a cut-down audio review, it's four extra minutes of Spill.

I always considered the format before to be (video reviews = casual spill fan) and then the (audio reviews = hardcore spill fans)

I have friends that only watch the video reviews, so I'm wondering if this change in content presentation will be as entertaining to them. It was funny this time since you guys were reacting to this new 20 second thing, but that's gonna wear off soon. So I wonder if the funny informative chemistry from the audio reviews can be repackaged this way in the long run. Just my thoughts,

What the hell is up with still doing 20 sec reviews? This is lazy bullshit? And you guys arent lazy. So what the fuck? Time to go back to the magical recipe that is the NORMAL video reviews, personally, its my second favorite part of this website. I know im only one guy but I cant be the only one begging for a return to normalcy. Hence I say, rise up spillios, speak your mind until we get back the video reviews of old that we remember fondly! But really the 10-20 sec shit was funny the first two times now i really want it back the way it was please. Thank you.

I love the new format.  My only suggestion would be that you guys leave time for at least one more joke at the end.  The ending joke with the animation was something I always looked forward to in reviews.  Plus, I would like to see the crew react to Korey's rating rather than just have it cut off.

It looks like the community is in agreement.  We digg the new format and hope you do more.

The only thing I can really add is that I would love to see this expand into other "shorts" to compliment LDT, ACOCO, or LEOG someday.  Anyway, keep up the great work!

p.s. Goatsey needs more random screen appearances.

I don't want 20 second reviews! I understand Spill con was busy but now that it's over. Get back to the regular video reviews!!! The audio reviews are fine but the reason why I tune into spill.com is because of the regular video reviews!

Im digging these new reviews! I never really watched the old ones cause I always listened to the audio reviews but this is a good alternative when I don't have half an hour to listen to something
