yeah i'd give this a full price.

    ethan hawke's performance was great.

i just actually watch daybreakers before watching this movie but i haven't realized it was him until i watch this review.

he should've been nominated for something. a hell lot of people should've won something for this movie.

u were right about richard gere. he was just there.

i really cared about the characters. except for gere. i didn't wanted anything bad happen to them.

but the ending was kind of expected. i thought there was actually a message in the ending. like if ur intentions are bad you'd end up badly and vice versa.

and i think that's the only way to go, with the ending. they tied up every loose string. ethan hawke died cause he's worth more dead than alive and his family could live. and don cheadle died cause he has nowhere to go. his wife divorced him and i don't think he could ever be get back to being a cop again. he's into all this gangster stuff so deep.

and the movie has some philosophizing thing going on. and that's one thing i love about it. like the opening scene w/ the righta wronga and others.

Tango (Don Cheadle) great actor, I enjoyed his character. Caz (Wesley Snipes) he hasn't aged a bit. Sal (Ethan Hawke) has grown as an actor ; I feel. Eddie (Richard Gere) still eye candy for the women ; beyond seasoned and still a great actor. Cle Shaheed Sloan "Bone" now here you have an actor, writer, director and father who we should hear and see more of. He needs a lead role hollywood......

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree....this movie was a rental for me guys. Ethan Hawke is desperate for money because every scene you see him you meet two more of his kids....the guy has SEVEN KIDS AND TWINS ON THE WAY. If they would of made three separate movies and have more character development and resolution then I would of gone full price on all of them except the Ethan Hawke one where he has 19 kids and quintuplets on the way. The acting was sensational in this movie but I walked away with two things 1) Stay out of Brooklyn and 2) Don't ever become a cop.

funny ending but seems totally off topic in context of the video. should have kept more of the audio in about the street talking. good review, too bad carlyle didn't see it. that guy needs to step up more, i miss his inputs

This movie has been trashed to no end. Even Rolling Stone gave it an F. I have no idea why. The movie was beautifully acted, and it was just good. The whole film is just about three cops at the end of their rope whether its through retirement, desperate for money or someone who has been undercover for too long. The scene with Gere getting a BJ by the prostitute was funny as hell. "Fuck yeah!"

Being from Waco, same as Korey, I'd have to agree with him at the end. Some parts of Waco, you do grow up on the streets. Lot of bad neighborhoods in town. Great Review!

Haha, the paperboy looks like a young Ed Rummy from the Boondocks cartoon. Which, even if not intentional, fits perfectly.
