This Review did not give the film justice.

I watched this movie only twice and it keeps getting better. The first time I saw it I was just sitting there amazed at how brilliantly they use a camera. The second time I was much more involved in the story which is actually really deep and very emotional. This is in no way an action flick! This is a drama that happens to have a lot of action in it. There is also some wonderful symbolism in this movie, especially the very last scene where the ship emerges from the fog. Better Than Sex. This movie is the one of the best examples of why filming industry can be considered an art form.

I thought "Children of Men" was brilliant. I would easily give it a Better Than Sex.

Michael Caine is usually very good in all his movies. I'd probably watch it just to see him in it. I don't think he looks like a chick; he looks either like a hippie (that has aged and cannot give up wearing his hair long) or a character from the "Harry Potter" universe.

Holy shit what a great movie. Great performances & cinematography... and really touching. Seriously, I'm usually not affected by tearjerkers, but I was BAWLING. Must-see, must-own, awesome film.

Such an awesome movie but so depressing, would have to be in my top 3 depressing endings with grave of the fireflies and AI. And the war scene 10 min or so before the end of the film is one of my favourite scenes in modern cinema.

It seems like this is a movie where the audience is divided into two. You either like this movie or you just simply don't. Whatever the reason, I still have yet to find someone who says this movie was "OK."

(25%) This movie is rather disappointing. It starts out very great and interesting, and then it just dies. It turns into this "protect the pregnant woman" genre, where everyone is obsessed with her like she will "magically" cure the infertility in the world. Thats true, she could, but they don't use her in that way, so its retarded. No one seems to get that here. Rather then use her to find a cure for the infertility, which would save mankind, they instead want to use her in a street war, which will be meaningless once everyone dies of old age, won't it? Its pathetic. The setting and background story of the movie is fantastic, its the plot line in the movie itself that just ruins it all. But I can't call the movie an huge failure because its background story is too good, and it had a few interesting twists.
