Be fore seeing, this review, i rented this movie. I thought it was sweet, nice and passed me. However, I simply found it... unentertaining. I also hate that Bitch Dane Cook. GGRRRRRRRR!!!!! But I liked Steve Carell and He was good being a dooche. I give this either a low Matine or High Rental. But that doesn't mean it's a bad movie.

You know, I enjoyed this movie. But I was a little busy at the time going, "Norbert Leo Butz is in this movie. Holla!" Cuz I love musical theatre as much as movies and Norbert Leo Butz originated a major role in the musical, Wicked and won a Tony for his performance as the Steve Martin character in the musical adaptation of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels...and I missed him in BOTH OF THOSE SHOWS!!!!!!! But I digress. I liked this movie. It was like a breath of fresh air watching a family that wasn't full of dysfunction or anything. It was a relief. I'll admit, the talent show bit and the working out together is kinda bullshit. I mean, that's a little too MUCH love, y'know? It ain't normal. It's like The Brady Bunch and The Waltons and The Partridge Family all rolled into one and updated for the 21st century. It was an honest movie. And I feel like you don't get a lot of those. I give it a matinee. Also, the poster gives me a craving for pancakes.

In no parallel universe of this planet would the luminous Juliette Binoche even lower herself to glance at Dane Cook...that's all I'm saying

Hey don't knock Cyrus' family! Watching our drunk family members do charades is the entertainment of the year!

Come on Cyrus you know our older siblings just liked dressing us up like idiots so they could laugh at us in their drunken state. I can't believe you are still falling for it..It was like a bad Three Stooges skit!!!

Unfortunately I have to agree with you Corey. It's unfortunate because I like Steve Carrel but except for The 40 Year Old Virgin he hasn't been in a single decent movie and his image just seems to be burning itself out from overexposure. And this isn't his first serious movie. Evan Almighty was serious, I didn't laugh once.

Wow it didnt take steve carrell long to do a "serious" movie. His movie life is near an end. Now before everyone jumps on me for this , ask youself. When was the last good jim carrey movie. The second "funny" guys get serious they are done. most never recover.

Wow, Chig Champa, did Dane Cook sodomize your grandmother or something? That's some powerful hatred. Not that I'm defending him, really -- I'm pretty indifferent to the guy, but it's interesting to hear just how MUCH so many people hate him. Maybe I need to watch 'Employee of the Month' or 'Good Luck Chuck' to truly grasp the horror he inflicts. As for this movie, I kinda want to see it, but only because I'm a sucker for romantic dramedies, and I dig Steve Carell. Maybe I'll wait for a rental, though. It was interesting to hear so many disparate opinions from you guys.

I dunno. i kinda like dane cook as an actor as well as a comedian-u cant deny he brings a lot of energy wherever he goes.

Yeah, i agree. I like Dane Cook's stand up. But he over acts in movies...he's still hot though:) I like employee of the month too! It wasent that bad..

I have to disagree just a bit about the Dane and Carlos thing. They have a wide variety of jokes. Just three funny ones. And pretty much all of their deliveries are off, or way to colorful. You can really kill the funny in something with to much swearing. I don't think that means they deserve Predator or Chig going after them, though. Maybe just have Cohost3000 insult them to death.

But Buzzkill all your presents would is remind them that they are virgins and have no idea how to satisfy let alone talk to a girl. Hell CoHost 3000 knows more about girls from molesting that toaster of Korey's than these guys.

Kory white people get violent too when this happens. Watch an epo. of Cops and listen at the end how they say it started.

Do you know any females that could help them with that Buz?

Well Senor, here's the thing about Dane Cook, in my experience. Dane Cook is like Carlos Mencia, in that the first couple of times you watch/hear it, it's pretty amusing. But then you realize that they only have about three jokes and that their delivery sucks. So yeah, Dane Cook is good for a couple of laughs. I just don't think he's one of the greats.

This looks interesting. Probably not my sort of movie, though. Not enough explosions and/or aliens.

geez am i the only one who thinks Dan Cook is alright? maybe he did make some awful movie decisions here and there. but i still remember him getting a chuckle or two our of me. awesome! im glad you one of you guys thought it was full price, ive been wanting to see this one. im such a fan of Steve Carell

Chig Champa so did you think Dane Cook was talentless in Mr. Brooks? I typically hate him, but actually thought he did pretty well in Mr. Brooks. I think his role was originally offered to Ashton, who probably would have been better, but Cook wasnt that bad.

This sounds like the forming of a new group to me. And if I'm thinking right more people hate Dane Cook then Micheal Bay, which is interesting to me.
