As soon as I heard Korey say "Fascist Dick-Head," that's when I knew I had to watch this movie. Dredd was crazy violent and grimy. However, I have to admit that it was pretty good. It kept my attention through an hour and thirty minutes of non-stop adrenalin rush. Two thumbs up from me.

I thought it was great, watched Dredd countless times when I just want to have an action movie playing in the background.  I thought it faithfully served the character Dredd aswell.  Felt the Stallone Dredd was too law this law that, despite what "the law"'s repricussions may have been.  Where as, in the first scene, when he was negotiating showed he wasn't just a Law drone but could think independently

I enjoyed Dredd 3D and sense that if the first Stallone movie had never been made, this movie would have been a bigger box office draw. Dredd 3D is just a notch behind TDKR and The Avengers which is good considering the movie didn't have the resources of the other two. Urban and Thirlby were good and I look forward to a sequel but won't hold my breath due to the low box office draw.

I thought Dredd was a pretty good movie. I mean yeah he's not the Avengers or whatever bollocks but it was a good bit of fun.

I honestly agree with a Full Price. The 3D was impressive, I loved Karl Urban, and The momories of the 1995 Stallone vehicle were wiped out. It suck that the movie bombed, It was actually pretty good :(

Knew this was gonna happen. Dredd is a d-list hero. The good news is they will make this up in bluray and dvd. I'm still going to see it. I'm thinking they shouldn't have gone with the 3-d tag. I'm betting people think it's ONLY a 3-d movie.

Somebody please delete that Shit Head spammer Jeff Wilkins' account.

This is a film that needs the support of real film fans. The failure of Dredd at the Box office will certainly mean the end for big budget  R rated genre movies.

    @Michael S

If you want that then go listen to the long form audio reviews. Look at it this way; changing the way the video reviews work is just a way to expand the variety of entertainment on the site. The old style of a bunch of guys sitting around a table and bullshiting is still available and now we have something new. Give the guys some time to work out what does and doesn't work in these sketch type reviews and I'm sure they'll be amazing.

And Cyrus is in West Virginia taking care of his dying father

Please bring back the old format video reviews. The spontaneous comments that were spliced into the video segments were so much funnier and entertaining than the scripted segments. Plus...where is Cyrus?

Alright, I don't want to sound like a whiny bitch, but I have to say something. Although these video reviews have been getting better, the "new format" still isn't quite working. I'll admit, I was getting sick of the "old format", but the jokes in these new reviews seem too forced and they miss more often than they hit.

I understand that these video reviews are basically promotion for the site, (hell, the Transformers 2 video review is what turned me on to the site to begin with), but these forced, scripted, and mostly-unfunny sketches are not advertising what makes spill great. Where's the improv? Where's the discussion? Where are the jokes that work?

Look, i'm not saying you guys should go back to the "old format", but what I am saying is: stop trying so hard. You can make your video reviews different from your audio reviews without going to the extremes that these new reviews go...

Ah, thought so, Korey... you've always wanted to be Madea, right? ;-)

Love the work you're putting into these vids. Keep it up!

I loved this movie, this was the way Dredd should be introduced to the movie going world.  Too bad its opening week end was very low which means no sequel will be made.  This movie deserved better.

@ 0MEGA V. and the "OMGWHYCHANGE?!!" people in general:

That's exactly WHY they're doing these kind of reviews now. For most of 2012, people were talking about how the videos were getting stale after time and how most of us just stuck to the audio reviews anyways, so doing this is a way to spice up the video reviews to make them stand APART from the audio reviews. So they aren't basically the same audio reviews but chopped up.

Both have their benefits. Obviously the audio reviews have the in-depth discussions, but now with the new video format you can STILL get a summary of the movie at hand without having to chop off interesting or key points that were in the audio reviews. It's a better summary, and honestly it just sounds more professional than just abruptly cutting off audio bits here and there; like if there's a roar of laughter or someone's sentence gets cut off due to time.

So...yeah. Mission accomplished. Now both the video and audio reviews have their own distinct feature(s) you don't get in the other and you can choose which one you prefer more.

For the record, it was Bruce Lee who came up with the fight-your-way-through-the-building idea.  It was the original plot for his last film, Game of Death.

I love you guys....but as of late, I enjoy the Audio reviews more than the video reviews. I can take the animation, which was a bit hard to get used to at first, but you guys need to use the hilarious material from the audio reviews like you used to.
