this movie was good not great but the one thing that did not work was Josh Peck as a bully. After you been bullied on a tv show for like 4 seasons, you just cant be seen as a bully no way. I did laugh at this movie, I probably liked this movie a lot more then others because I fricken love movies when the kids being bullied decided to turn the tables on the bullies. I JUST FRICKEN LOVE THAT TYPE OF STORY!!!

Full Price. I loved this movie. It was awesome to see someone like Owen Wilson helping these kids learn to not be bullies. The only problem I have is some of the bully scenes like when the kid gets put in the trophy cabniet. Why isn't a teacher around? Where are all the teacher's in this movie?

It's funny. I'll give it that. But Owen Wilson is an asshole of an actor. I HATE him. >:() I mean he's like Ashton Kutcher. I hate show off, in your face actors. If it wasn't for another actor like that in this movie, I would've given Some Ol' BS. But I'll be nice and say rental

Hey ,this is a good matinee because there are some real a-holes in school and sometimes you need some ideas not to be beat-up by jerks ,just cause they can.I had to always punch the biggest bully in grammar and high school within the first month to make them think again about bothering me again! I liked it! it was a little funny but they learned how to take it in their own hands by just having owen make them believe in themselves. Its no pulp f but i thought it would be like so much crap that's out there with kids movies.Rental def.but decent rent b.fitz

Hell, when I was in school we would rough up the lower classmen. The ones who didn't take it personaly or stood up to us, we would take them out on the weekends to the parties. It was like that before me and I hear it's still going on. It's not always right, but it helps seperate the heard.

I don't know where you guys went to school, but the teachers, where I come from, do not give a shit about you. Other students can do whatever they want to you and no one will do anything about it. Although I've never been to Prison, thats what it felt like during the school days. Only solution is to learn to fight, or get friends that can and hang around them, or you'll get bullied by someone twice your weight just for existing. I've seen students get beat up or mugged pretty much everywhere in school without being seen by adults(Bathrooms, hallways, outside between buildings, etc), and just like in prison, you damn well better not tell on them if you witness it. If you do, they'll get suspended for 1-3 days, and as soon as they get back, you'll be next, over and over again the rest of the year. If you're lucky enough not to be a target, you stay that way by keeping to yourself. I'm glad I was never a target of interest in school, that would have been hell, and I was a weak defenseless computer nerd.

I wouldn't say it's a waste of time but also I wouldn't spend it that way again. Its a movie that it has some funny moments but they pass too fast turning it into a nonsense film.Maybe it is a entertaining movie for kids and teens because of all the situations. The story about Two kids hire a low-budget bodyguard to protect them from the playground bully. The cast is decent but the acting is weak. Owen Wilson in maybe his worst performance, I don't know but I feel him uncomfortable with this role, the three kids are good, specially Tony Gentile (the fat one). In conclusion, It was intended to be and entertaining movie and it was for a while.

I didn't actually like this review. The part about the kids getting beat up in the halls, happens ALL the time in real life hell in Middle school kids got beaten up every day in the halls and no one would do a damn thing. Same in high school The thing about Wilson walking into the school and no one asking him if he's really a teacher isn't realistic, but hey its just a comedy. Its not supposed to be completely accurate. I give it a matinee
