  I really enjoyed this movie. I agree with a lot of the things Spill is saying but I still got a lot of laughs. Here is how I think about it, I imagine that Zach is Doweny Jr's wife's cousin and she wants them to get along because people have taunted Zach his entire life, that is why Downey Jr stuck with him that entire time. Yep that's what I keep telling myself, becuase there is no reason for Downey Jr to have even taken the "road trip" with him at all! I mean no reason, but I did laugh a lot so I give it a very high Matinee!

  no more than a shitty version of planes trains and automobiles but i had a few laughs. The dog jerking off really made me laugh and some other moments but it was largely sprinkled with shit. Id give it a rental aswell

  i agree with korey matinee the only problem i had that took me out of it was that i felt that zach is starting to get into that will ferrell mind set and play the same over and over i dont mind the big kid role but he needs two try something else. i hope he matures with more roles that have depth like his role in the HBO series bored to death

  I didn't mind the movie, even though i see what you guys are saying...i mean overall its just a very unrealistic somewhat enjoyable comedy...but i've seen better. I'll give this a Matinee...but damn this review is hilarious!!!! Especially what Ghandi does at the end, hahaha.

  This movie was a fucking piece of shit ripoff of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I was so disappointed with this. The only thing that's great about this movie is Robert Downey Jr. Very low rental.

  You guys were too hard on this one. I actually saw it at the Matinee and it was worth every penny in hard laughs. I'm not sure how you can fault Downeys character for taking the ride, without mentioning some sort of viable alternative. As far as Identifying with someone, I think the viewer identifies with parts of both characters, so that's not a problem for me. Even if you dont feel me on that, Downey is that asshole that a lot of people wish they could be. That scene with the kids was hilarious. The end was over the top and the climax was lack luster and that's the only reason I would say rental/matinee.

  Okay, so who else could have lived without seeing him without the beard? I'm on the same page though. Zack's character comes across immediately as an incompetent manchild, which makes Robert Downey Jr.'s character just as big an idiot because he didn't have the foresight to know that a road trip with that moron would lead to all the distractions and stupidity he endures through the movie.
