I really liked this movie, it was quite smart and funny and Emma Stone's character was really likable but right until the end they just had to blew it with that dance number and shitty ending... I mean it's almost like the movie contradicts itself just because of that ending and therefor it remains as a Matinee for me.

Well, it is definitely a chick movie yet I had a good time watching. Let me put it this way - it's not that bad.

I think we gradually evolved from the standard no-brainer teen movie.I think it's a good steep forward, but we're not quite there yet.

this film deserves a much better rating than matinee. Stone's awesome in this and her parents are hillarious. Amanda Bynes isn't as annoying as I expected either lol I give it a full price easy

We actually had a really hot chick in my class in High School that was pretty unnoticeable (she was kind of lame though, but that's beside the point). Still, I hate it when all kids in a movie are good looking to the point where it becomes ridiculous :-/

This is a very high matinee for me. It was funny as hell and the acting was great from everyone.

Great review, but it didn't end as funny as I thought it would do. You should've used the black joke at the end instead.
