  honestly, i like this movie. its cheesy because come one, it was a comic book. honestly i think Cage did fine, Sam Elliot was good, but the guy who played the devil was the best. he did scare me. Eva Mendes was terrible in this movie. she doesnt belong in movies like this and shes why im a little afraid to see the Spirit. she only belongs in movies where shes a bitchy hot girl(Hitch) or a slutty hot girl (We Own The Night). the effect in this movie were great. ghost rider looked cool. when he rides is bike through the city with the flame behind him is cool. when him and elliot ride the duel ghost riders ride is awesome. why are people bagging on cage movies? this movie was very successful moneywise. the national treasure movies are good and are successful. wiker man and weather man i guess were bad movie.

  I agree with you guys. This script was so horrible, I wanted to run screaming from the theater, but I still liked Sam Elliot. He was probably the only thing I liked in this movie. Well, him and the devil's son and his squad of elemental emos just because they made me laugh.

  After BLADE, director Stephen Norrington's follow up project was meant to be Ghost Rider. If the film was made as an adult action horror it could have been excellent, but it was made as a child friendly adventure like Fantastic Four and it doesn't work! Oh well I suppose a poor Ghost Rider movie is better than nothing!!

  What the hell. I like Nicholas Cage but in this case every single line that was given was so bad I'm surprised that he and Eva Mendes didn't just hop on his motorcycle and said "come on Eva let's go find a better movie to be in" and then just rode off into the sunset. It isn't just the script that pisses me off it's the short ass action scenes wich aren't even action scenes because all Ghost Rider does is kick sand in thier faces and they just instantly die. The only thing I can give this move is Sam Elloit and Eva Mandes(A.K.A Busty Bitch) and that's it. With shitty dialouge and 2 second fight scenes I give Ghost Rider a 6/10

  I have to agree, this was a pretty stupid movie, but it wasnt horrible, it was just bad. One thing that i didnt like about this movie was that the action scenes were just too short, Ghost Rider killed everything too quickly. Even in the last fight, when you think its gonna be a good badass movie, ghost Rider kills the guy right away! They make it look like anybody can kill the son of the devil! There's gold in them thar hills Ghost Rider!

  This movie was an epic failure, and this is coming from the guy who LIKES the Spider man movies, Xmen movies, Ultraviolet, etc. They all had interesting stories, acting, and action. But this movie here, F this. He effortlessly rapes every encounter, he has the cheesiest lines possible, the Devil and son are pathetic. Even Cages acting is bad in this movie, which was surprising and disappointing. I could go on, but theres text cap. You get the point.

  When one dude in the review said "its so bad, its almost good again", I shouted out "YES!" I loved this movie because of how god awful it was. Within in the first 10 minutes you see some of the worst dialogue in history played out by Peter Fonda and the young Nick Cage and Eva Mendes (who the hell were they, anyway). From that moment, I knew that this movie would be hilarious. And the villian played by the emo kid from American Beauty? Awesome. Sam Elliot was pretty much his cliched self once again. Oh and I'm not embarassed to admit this, but after every scene featuring Eva Mendes I had to tap my friend on the shoulder and ask what the hell happened ohgodherboobs.
