I don't know if anyone knows this, but this movie astonishingly resembles the Madeleine McCann Disappearance Case going on in Portugal a couple of years ago. If you want to check it out yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Madeleine_McCann Great review, guys!!

i slept on this movie because i didn't want to see a movie called gone, baby gone. i thought it was going to be about child murder or something but it turned out to be something more heart breaking because this child was someone who was being rescued not hurt. i thought the end as perfect when he comes to the house for a visit and see the mother up to the same old tricks. he volunteers to babysit because the mother isn't really concerned who babysit and as he sits and looks at the child, you see that he has a moment of wondering if he made the right decision. FULL PRICE ALL THE WAY!!

Ed Harris was the man in this movie but I hated Morgan Freeman in it. It seems like all the characters should be completely different in his films but he acts them the same

I agree with everything that you said, except Casey Affleck. I thought he was exceptional in this film. He's not as good as he was in Assassination of Jesse James, but I thought he delivered one of the best leading male performances of last year; clearly better than George Clooney in Michael Clayton.

I pretty much agree with the crew including the Casey commnets. I'm not a huge fan of his. He's ok. I also noted Ed Harris' great ability to become the character. He's one of those guys who I foget he's an actor because he just becomes whatever character. Hell I didn't even recall his name until mentioned in the review. I rented the DVD and while I didn't the story was all that unique, the acting, directing, etc was good.

It shows Affleck can direct. A bit too much is crammed into it. Harris and Freeman don't have well-written parts.

this movie looked like it was gonna be decent. morgan, ed harris, boston drama. the only thing that bothered me is the title. everytime i saw the commercial and that movie announcer said the title i would bust out laughing. i mean, as might as well name it "pickles and cheese"

I probably won't pay full price for this, because I'm po', but I'll definitely keep either a matinee or rental in mind. Now that I know it's got both Morgan Freeman AND Ed Harris in it, it's on my List. Nice review, guys.
