i thought the movie was great when they were showing michaels past but when that was done it sorta went down for me. i mean other then the mask and the music this movie felt like a brand new horror film and the chick who played michaels sister wasnt very interesting and felt like she was a chick who just happened to survive a friday the 13 movie and got into this one. it was still entertaining and i give it a Neutral Matinee

So many people say this movie is bad, why? Is it as good as the original, of course not, it's not even in the same ballpark. But still, I thought it was really good for doing something different. Really Low Matinee Can't wait 'till H2

Rob Zombie's trailer park trash Remake aka the Re-Imagine ha Re-Imagine my butt I Loved John Carpenter's Halloween but this white trailer park trash of a Remake Re-Imagine GOD if you look at The Devil’s Reject its the same film Rob Zombie sucks as a film maker and there was way to much shake cam it look like he was trying Re-make The Texas Chainsaw Massacre but with Michael Myers even his mask looked the a lot like Leatherface all dirty and nasty looking and speaking of Nasty language Zombie's version was saturated with profanity, nudity, and bad acting and what is the use of the Rape seen he also made Michael way to human and I really didn't care for the back story and I just hated the ending Rob Zombie pretty much butchered a classic Horror film.

Jeez I guess my friend and I were the only ones that liked it. We liked the backstory and thought it gave Myers a little more depth. I thought Scout Taylor Compton was much more believable in the role of Laurie Strode. And we just thought it was a much more intense film than the original. That said, I do want to point out that I love the original as well. Fuck Freddy and Jason, Halloween was the originator and the best and I think Rob Zombie did a great remake.

This Remake is $h!t don't even intend on watching it. Iwatched the unrated version on dvd, and it was worse, so if you do want to see it, see it in the theatrical version, not the messed up unrated one

Man, this movie was fucking bullshit to the "n"th degree...I saw it and wanted to do what this Michael Myers did to that kid in the beginning except to Rob Zombie. Way to go Rob...Add this one onto your list of shitty movies. This was BAD but not bad enough to ruin the classic...Like the character itself, you can't kill it.

I thought this was a pretty good movie and it creeped me out way more than the original. Perhaps thats what happens with time I guess, the Exorcist doesn't scare me anymor either. That kid they found to play young mike really creeped me out.

There was no reason to remake this movie. The original is already a classic as is. Michael Myers should just stick to his Austin Powers franchise. Holla if ya hear me......

I think you have some good point on your review about the new Hollween movie, however I think the pretty boy M. Meyers was kind of creepy because he was this kind of pretty boy with this sick twisted mind. I think it was better in the beginning!
