The only reason why Charlize Theron's character was more powerful than Hancock was because she had all her memories in tact, and knew exactly what she was capable of. But Hancock, with his amnesia, had to "learn" his powers through trial and error.

Full Price. This movie is amazing and funny. There are so many superhero scenes that it's hard to find anything bad about it. If there is anything bad about it, it's that part where he shaves his beard. Why does he need to do that in order to become a better superhero? Also, why did he lose his hat? That hat was really neat. I am glad I got the walmart deal where I could get that hat with the movie. After he shaved, he looked like Bill Cosby in a leather suit. I actually think it was Bill Cosby.

Oh yeah, I did not like his weakness, lol!!! His weakness was a white woman!!! Plus she was more powerful then him!

I did like it at first because I am all for superhero movies. Then I thought hard about it, and got pissed off. Why when it is a blacksuperhero like a Superman, he has to be a drunk? Superman was orphaned, but he is not a drunk! Batman lost his parents in front of him, but he is not a drink! Hancock lost just his memory, and now he is a drunk! So a blackman loses is memory, and just because a drunk! As a matter of fact, all blackhero movies now of days are some form of comedy! Blankman like a I guess like a Batman from the hood Bullshit, Undercover Brother like a James Bond was a good movie, but still was a comedy, and etc etc! The only serious blacksuperhero movie that I can think of was the Blade series, but that was still on the darkside ( I LIKE ALL OF THEM THOUGH).

Honestly, this premise, amazing, I was really excited for this movie, and the first half of it I was having a ball, then they threw in Charlize Theron and the "villian" and all that, and it all went to hell, it really seems like they just got this great idea, they went where they went with it, then they were like, oh shit, what the hell do we do now, how do we end this? And just threw in all this half-assed stuff, I'd like to see this character again, or at least this premise, maybe in a graphic novel or something, i'm not into that, but i'd buy it cause this is spectacular, just like I Am Legend, I love Will Smith and both those movies premises blew me away, both of their first halves had me giddy like a japenese school girl, then fell apart half-way through and were very unsatisfying and disjointed, Final Review: Someone who loves the concept or really likes Will Smith: High Matinee to "low" Full Price Everyone else: Low Matinee

Very low rental. They had something going for the first half of the film but it quickly goes down hill during the second half. They pull out a twist involving Charlize Theron that was just ridiculous and totally misplaced. The most important narrative moment in a film is how it ends and since this ones ending is total crap I was disappointed.

I just watched this movie for the first time today, and I have to say that I agree with Carlyle and Korey....while the film is highly entertaining and, in the third act, deals with some interesting aspects of what it would be like to be a superhero in reality.....it fell a little short for me. I just felt that after all the action and comedy that had occurred earlier in the film, the sudden transition to a more philosophical point of view felt a bit forced and out of place. And yes, the villain in the end was under developed and you didn't feel a connection to him at all, or any sense of fear what so ever. All in all? Rental.

I loved the first half of this film, but when that person gives him the answers he has been looking for, I was like "WTF? that is so stupid!" but that is just me. I didnt like the ending. I give this a low matinee because of the first half and because of will smith

Well this movie was ok. It does have a great cast and all but i hated the ending. On the plus side i did like how they explained his name. And also i thought that it wouldnt be belivable to see Will Smith fly but he proved me wrong.

Hey, remember in the first LEOG (for those who listen to it) Leon said he can't buy Will Smith being an asshole and look, Will Smith proved him wrong.

The one flaw: Villain. It took me a while to figure out who he was. They have the option to go two different ways with this film and they go straight up the middle.CG is weak at times. I also didn't like Michelle's accent. On the plus side: great cast, great action scenes, realistic, loved the "may i touch your body?" scene- hilarious. Good humor. I give it a very high MATINEE.

im with korey the first 2 acts were great but the 3rd act feels random and underdeveloped and as korey says the villain is out of nowhare and the other suprise is just random and the explanation for the plot twist is just dumb to me matinee
