That would have been very clever and I would have given the movie points for that.  Having a fight downtown, get into a local market, a baddie bashes 47's head near a scanner than drags him across it.

Ok. I LOVE the videogame. The movie is a rental. Everything that Spill made fun of is from the game.  The movie is a generic action movie. Olga is so hot. I hate the tattoo on her face, but omg. I want her. For a videogame with no story it did a good job of being hitman. I love that he had the pistols hidden in the hotel ice chest. If you like the game its a rental, if you dont, its probably a show to instant que on netflix.

*SHAKES HEAD* I really had high hopes for this movie....REALLY!!! But it was dissappointing and agent 47 was completely out of character.........Besides, why the hell is there a love interest in a Hitman Movie.....He's a clone with no emotions! This movie falls between the ass-crack of Some Ole' Bullsh-- and Rental..............

For some reason I'm a sucker for action movies like this. I wouldn't see it in theaters but will watch it just for fun at home and somehow like it.

A middle of the road video game movie. But seriously, the movie got a little shameless when it tried to not be mindless. They ran headlong into the cliches. Like that scene where he spares that police officer's life because the russian chick was there. "She saved you." Bah! Not too mention the sword fighting scene at the train station was even too cheesy for the video games.

Watched it at the movies, walked away thinking... what the hell was that all about? I think it was a great idea to do the film but they should have spent more time on working out a better plot. I'll stick with the Game! Hopefully Max Payne won't be done like this film was.

I believe that any fan of the video game will love this movie, although a few parts such as the fight in the train car were a little much. But overall, this movie is great as far as video game movies go. Hey Celestial, If you ever find a fine ass Russian chick like that let me know, cuz I want a piece ;)

This movie was ok but it could have been better with a bit more movie making effort and relying slightly less on the games success to carry it.

If they but his head over A bar code scanner, this movie would have been hilarious.

Well they didn't explain the whole barcode thing or why he tries to kill the president because they probably thought the viewer would know that because they played the games. That makes an assumption that it was made for the fans of the game, yet it had no connection to the game whatsoever! As if that wasn't enough they had to throw in some loose references to the game without connecting it to anything. And Timmey is just too young and stupid to play this role. He never even played the game. I would give this a rental just because I am a Hitman fan.

Hitman: blood money is one of the best games I ever played... but the movie it's another history... Hitman it's not about guns and sex... it' s about killing people in an elegant way, and leave no evidence or witnesses.

This movie was awesome, I dont know why you guys say it sucks?? Have any of you actually played the game? The game DOESNT HAVE A PLOT!! Why should the movie?? The point of the game is to kill your target and that is what the point of this movie is, if you cant accept that then you are not a fan of the games. Oh and the sex scene was awesome because he DIDNT have sex with her like every other movie he passed her out.

i really enjoyed the movie. i think this happens when you read a review slating the movie then you expect a bad movie, but can be pleased with an ok to good movie (that review was by a chick who clearly would have prefered a chick flick) . the story was ok, the casting was great, action all the way through some great stunts and effects. I was pleased i saw it. i know it was based on a video game, and there have been lots of video game films that have not been great, but so what. this is all opinion, and sometimes critics get to make a film or sink it.

Only reason I saw this movie is because I'm still holding on to some desperate hope that Timothy Olyphant will leave his wife for 15 years and their 3 kids and marry ME. :)

Isn't that kind of the unwritten rule. You cant make a good movie out of a video game. And you cant make a good game from a movie.
