I remember going to see it in cinemas after months of build-up and anticipation and thinking "yeah, that was pretty good!" but every time I've seen it since it gets worse for me and all the little things that they screwed up or misjudged completely stand out all the more, unlike the original trilogy which gets better every time I see it. I don't hate this movie, but I do think after workin on it for 20 years it shoulda been better and it shoulda felt more like a goddamn Indiana Jones movie!!

A low Full Price for me. The film had enough action to keep me on the edge of my seat, the cast was simply great, and the effects, while statistically 90% CG, aren't nearly as synthetic as the Star Wars prequels.

I kept my expectations for this movie low, and ended up really liking it. FULL PRICE, but for those who still haven't seen it yet, you need to keep in mind that it's not as good as Raiders or Last Crusade, but a little better then Temple of Doom!

Eh it was a bit of a let down. I'm a huge fan of the Indy series. One of the first films I remember seeing in the theater was The Last Crusade. So I was expecting that after how many years it took them to make this that it might live up to the others to some degree. Sadly it fails to do so. It just got too ridiculous this time round. True, the series never depended off of realism but this one pushes it to cartoonish extremes. The surviving the nuclear blast by hiding in a fridge is definitely the defining moment. Also I just didn't feel the writing or the direction was that sharp this time around. No one really seemed like they were trying too hard. Even Ford seemed to only be giving it half of what he's got. Shia Lebouf I think was the worst thing about the film. I don't know why Speilberg has made this kid his golden boy. He really isn't all that skilled. He plays the same dorky guy thrown into action in every flick he's in. How does a guy so skinny and dorky looking keep getting these big movies? The scene with him swinging from the vines with monkeys was vomit inducing. In the end, I guess the film was fun. Even with it's flaws it was good to see Indy again. It was like seeing an old friend. It was entertaining but when compared to the franchises glory days it comes up way short.

the Indy trilogy are my favorite movies of ALL TIME. I love them so much that I literally was in tears during the credits roll at how much they f*cked this movie up. I hate this movie, and I understand its because of how much love I have for the originals... but still... 20 years and this was all they could come up with? It pains me that the Fate of Atlantis, Infernal Machine and Emperors Tomb are more like sequels to me than this. I hope they don't make any more movies, I can only take so much.
