I don't know what you people saw in this movie. I think Quentin Tarantino is a short-sited idiot, and his movie was an overated peice of crap. I can't beleive they liked brad's accent. There's only two kinds of people in the world remotely capable of faking an accent of that quality: people who are Brad Pitt, and people who aren't Brad PItt.

ha i'd love to see that last cartoony bit in real life, mostly because i know loads of people who would do that, u guys should really make like a funny cartoon show like family guy or south park, it'd be really good, and i'd definately watch it.

This is the first Spill review that I strongly disagree with. I think what you guys have said about how the scenes are too long is far from the point of the film. These scenes, albeit long, are extremely well done. To downgrade them only for their length is really "Some Ol' Bullsh**". As a matter of fact if you take the time to experience Diane Kruger, you will see that her acting has become almost that of a Goddess since Troy. Pitt is solid, like you say, and the guy who plays Hans Landa was Mozart. But there were other genuine people like Wilhelm, the Frenchman in the beginning scenes, and Dr. Goebbels. All great acting, all extremely well done. I might even give it a "Better Than Sex".

Regarding the audio commentary about the spill crew's top films of 2009, Korey's stance on this film is rather contradictory to his stance on Jackie Brown. Imean, He could of given this feature at least a full price, or something more relatively positive; something more alike to his summary of Jackie brown; to which he subsequently he suggested the picture was Tarintino's best. Jackie Brown, Alike to I.B. was overwhelmingly riddled with endless scenes, driven by generally pointless dialogue. So why the unadmiration to this film and not to Jackie Brown?

Fuck this movie. This movie in fact has the wrong title. It isn't Inglourious Basterds because they are hardly in this movie. It should have been called Why People Should Speak English because this is a subtitle film Granted, I did like the Orphanage and it was nothing but subtitles, but they were readable. This movie's subtitles go by in the blink of an eye and the story is so dull that you won't want to read it. The subplots are even more boring than the actual story.

I kinda agree, there was too much talking in this movie. If there wasn't and they would've shaved 10 maybe 20 minutes off the movie, I'd have given this a BETTER THAN SEX, but Brad Pitt was just so damn funny, I did like Eli Roth in this movie. It had action, but it sometimes took too long for the action to actually crackle, but I like the movie so much, I'm labeling it FULL PRICE. This wasn't as good as Pulp Fiction, but it did good.

I just watched this, it was okay. When it was good, it was really good (any scene with Waltz, the beginning, shootouts, etc.) but there was WAY too much boring dialogue and subtitles! I can't recall if this was marketed as a more action-packed movie but I had to turn it off in the middle and come back later because I was being bored to tears! The German and French were easy on the ears but there was too much talking!

Just watched this on my cousin's 360 last night. This movie gets a rental from me. The movie had a handful of really memorable scenes (Hugo shoving his pistol into the Nazi's lap tops the list for me) that were surrounded by horribly boring and overly long expository scenes that just put me to sleep. This movie and Death Proof go in my book as Tarantino's most boring and disappointing works. Decent director... severely overrated though.

Now, a lot of people said this movie was too much talking. Yeah, true, but I think the dialogue was the best part. If you read the script (available online) the movie makes much more sense. Now, if you were there and working on the script, you would know that Brad wasn't allowed to sleep throughout the whole filming of the movie. Talk about depravity. Anyways, the Christoph Waltz, amazing actor.

This film is definitely Full Price. What's wrong with you guys? I disagree with your review here. It was the most unique film experience of 2009.

This really is a strange movie. The whole theater was sold out. We were sitting on the highest seats :) and at the end, people applauded when that German guy got a face cut (you know what I mean ;) ). One part of it is totally awesome, while the other part is too slow and too much storytelling. After the movie we were pretty disappointed with the slow side and my friends said the movie was total crap. But when you let the movie sink for a couple days you will begin the appreciate it more. It really is a strong story and there are enough scenes you will keep remembering because it's made so smart and humoristic. E.g. the scene with the poor Maximillian was just awesome. And Brad Pitt trying to talk Italian is way to funny. So my rating is full price.
