  You owe fans an apology, Spill, for insulting Jack at the beginning of this video.

  The situation in this movie was not Jack's fault. It was Roderick's fault.

  If Jack hadn't gotten the beans from the Monk in the first place, then Roderick would've just climbed up the beanstalk by himself (and with his henchmen) and none of the good-guys would've known about his evil plan until it was too late.

  In other words: if Jack didn't get the beans, the bad-guy would've won. Jack's involvement saved more lives.

  I agree with the spill guys, average movie that could have been better.  However Ewan McGregor was the charicter that kept me interested and invested in the movie.  This movie was confused with what age group it was trying to entertain.
