Brendan Fraser is a goofy looking guy, but he's still good as an actor nonetheless. The story was dull and hardly a plot at all, but it ok and the 3d actually made it better. Low Matinee. By the way Co-Host, was your viewmaster pictures porn photos of Johnny5?

An epic adventure, with great action very funny moments and awesome special effects. Based on the Jules Verne novel, I fell that it was a excellent adaptation. The plot was interesting about a scientist (Fraser), his nephew (Hutcherson) and their mountain guide (Briem) discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth on the quest to find out what happened to the scientist missing brother. The cast was good, Brendan Fraser on what he does best, action and adventure roles with moments of humor, Josh Hutcherson role was convincing and very funny and Anita Briem performance was very decent. My conclusion is that this movie is perfect for all the family to enjoy and spend a really good time specially because it is on 3-D.

According to a show I saw on The History Channel (!!), hypothetically, if you could drill a hole through the planet you could travel anywhere in eight minutes due to Earth's gravity and the spinning of the planet and ... something about Nazis... So theoretically it would only take four minutes to travel to the center of the Earth...
