Good movie. There's enough suspense in it to keep one interested.

Samuel L Jackson's character was obsessed with this interracial couple b/c he never let go of what happened in the past with his late wife. He saw this interracial couple and immediately thought back to his late wife and her infidelity. Though you do have a point in your review, I don't think race was the issue in the movie, I think the issue was how some people let an old grudge controls them and ruin their lives and ability to communicate with others. B/C is you noticed, Samuel L Jackson's character was not only having issues with his neighbors but also his co-workers, the guests at the cocktail party whom he didn't even know, and his own children.

I dont know what misconceptions you have but I dont believe that because it isnt filmed often, means that people or Hollywood has a problem with a black man and white woman. And am sad of your lack of faith and placed your personal racial element into a movie review.

I liked this movie just for the reason of it being DIFFERENT! Honestly, whites get busted for racism all the time. But never once do any other race. So, I'm not saying its GOOD that they did a movie about a racist black dude. But the fact that it wasn't the same old 'white boy hates his black neighboor'.

The ending sucks.. lets just get that out of the way. the child actors are bad. that is a given. but Samuel L. Jackson is hardcore. He played the perfect villain in this movie. and we loved him for it. this movie shows the awful truth of corrupt pigs, and racism.

"Oh...my...God..." Man, I loved Samuel L. Jackson in this film. But this film was just about as god-awful as 'The Wicker Man' with Nick Cage. Jackson is basically the only somewhat saving grace of this film. However, I could understand how interracial-couples could come to like this film. Maybe they've experience something(although, not as extreme as this) like this. I mean, have you read Roger Ebert's review of this film? 4 out of 4?!... Oh well.

I saw the film last week, actually liked it. Nothing great, nothing terrible, just ok.

Damn Korey lol So what did you rate it again? XD He can have my damn sugar too, he has always scared me. Watching the review, even after what you've said, I can't see him in this movie as being an old angry racist- just batshit crazy. lol you know what I just think Samuel L. Jackson is just like that. He was in Coming to America ('member Eddie Murphy's movie? XD) with that small role and was lookin' straight ass insane.

I think the rating you gave is bullshit. I know alot of black guys who don't like white men with black women, and also white guys who don't like it the other way. But, that being said this was an entertaining movie and so what if Sam Jackson got jealous. There are alot of crazies out there, and this movie just told one story.

As far as the constant "buddy drinking" goes throughout the movie, haven't you heard the mantra "Keep your friends drunk and your enemies drunker".

sorry for double posting, but if you want a good movie about a interracial-copy that is not black, look up one of Bruce Lee's movies (forgot the name and too lazy to research).
