I didn't like this movie. I think that after Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn and Grindhouse, Mr Rodriguez has become a little repetitive. I didn't have as much fun as I was expecting to have. Same thing with Predators (even though Predators is a better movie than this one).

@Hernandez and gabriel....I have nothing against the spill crew...even tho I feel that some of their reviews aren't 100% honest...but my only problem is people not willing to go see a movie based on what the spill crew had to say in their reviews...you people should have a mind of your own and go see a movie for your own entertainment and nobody else...thats why i wrote what i wrote...evidently i have to like the crew in some way if im a member of their website...sometimes they do stuff that im going to object to and im going to continue to say what I think and how I feel about a movie, about a review, and about anything I want..if you don't like it you don't have to read my comment..im not going to change so get used to it

    >‘’ I'd probably do the same thing in their position, but the last thing that society needs is another "kill all the white man" kind of message.’’ This comes from an American, a Hollywood-watcher, who feasts off of movies glorifying the United States in everything, everything from wars to the demonizing of ‘’enemies’’ and other states, even though the opposite is really the fact. The opposite as if that the US is for example one of the biggest terror states out there (whole Latin-America is ruined because of American involvement, including use and support of terror and capitalist tyrannical corporations, also in Mexico), that they are the most criminal state out there? Btw, Mexico wouldn’t be fucked up, if the United States gave back half of the rich Mexican land they are sitting on now (New Mexico, Texas and California). So in that sense, the US has no rights blocking Mexicans to go over border to land that really belong to them. I always love it when someone in Spill brings up race. I remember when Corey and his other black friends mentioned the black robots in Transformers (and his complain about black stereotypes in other film), but never the stereotypes of other races in the film like the ‘’evil German’’ scientist, or the middle-eastern guys. What am even I doing here talking this shit? Spill.Com is not a site of intellectuals, for from it.

i hope we see treejo more before he gets arthritis, i watched an episode of desperate housewives to see him xD i then bought several seasons. I much prefered the gag trailer for this on Planet Terror, but i was high throughout this whole movie so i loved it sooo much. But unless you want the CHANCE to be in a theater where everyones just laughing and heckling, its really just a rental.

@thatboyk-o not to get in a fight but why did you make a profile just to insult spill.com? the whole point of making a profile is the watch it, laugh with it, and all tht kind of stuff and just look at what happened to this guy (a LOT of hate): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEV0hFtX6g4

Yup, kind of unfortunate that Rodriguez had to get all "race warfare" about things with his promo video. If Mexico wasn't so messed up, there would not be as much motivation for people to risk their lives by crossing the border. I'd probably do the same thing in their position, but the last thing that society needs is another "kill all the white man" kind of message. However, it probably made for some seriously hilarious s#!t when some marketing studio exec pissed his pants after giving Rodriguez like millions of dollars to make a Youtube video and alienate like half of the viewing public. Too bad he couldn't just stick to "el Mariachi"...

@ThatBoyK-O you wrote a whole paragraph saying why people should not listen to these reviews (which should not affect you in any way) and yet you take your time to watch them (still dont understand your reasoning). In summary:if you dont have anything productive to say or post hilarious things like "Renegade", then just keep it to yourself and look for something else that you like. @Spill crew Continue with your work, thanks for the entertainment!

@Jason You just gave the reason why people shouldnt listen to spill's review..why would you listen to a review from peoplle who knew they weren't going to like the movie before they even walked in the theater...Its like if I don't like hamburgers why would you ask me how the hamburgers at whatever restaurant taste like..you know im not going to say anything good because I don't like hamburgers..but anyway I haven't seen the movie yet but I heard its a great movie so I have to see it and I won't let the Spill crew shitty reviews make me not want to do that...its funny how yall are such sheep man..can't you see they give every movie thats not doing good on other critic sites the same type of review...you never here different opinions you hear them say the same things that the critics on rottentomatoes say thats too much of a coincidence and you people just keep eating it up...don't believe me just monitor the next couple of reviews and you will see for yourself...

I loved this film. It was pretty much what I expected it was going to be. I agree with Korey that this is the sexiest Michelle has ever been and her acting was top notch. However, I disagree about Alba, while she is really hot in this, her acting is very poor just like every other movie she is in. This movie was a lot of fun for me. Trejo kicked ass and so did most of the actors in this. I thought De Niro turned in one of his better performances in a long time. To each their own, but I would give this movie a full price.

I agree with Co-Host. That trailer was really the best part of that movie, especially the voice-over. "Now, they're about to realize they've just fucked with the wrong Mexican!" That being said, an actual live action film based on that trailer was kind of unnessecary. This movie kinda feels like it was created just to grab a quick buck while everyone still remembered the trailer.

This review has it bang on. If your a fan of these types of movies and the people who make them (which I am) then its a full price. If you are not into that type of movie then a rental is a more then fair rateing to give it. I am happy Lindsey dident get that much screen time at all but I was disapointed that Mr Segal was not used more. I mean really its not like he has other projects going on he should have had a much bigger part.

The whole heavy handed approach toward illegal immigration was a big turn off. Robert Rodriguez wanted to put a serious subject in a grind house movie. What the fuck was he thinking?

This looks like a train wreck of the first order...geeze, hey was that Cheech as a preist? He's done that before I think. Great job on the review though, the animated segments were great!

I agree with you guys for the most part, but I would give it a Full Price for the fact that I got exactly what I wanted out of Machete, mindless bloody, and gory action. It was basically everything I didn't get out of the Expendables, and honestly when it comes to a movie like this, I don't care about anything but what I just said because with something like Machete, i could care less about story and things that just didn't make sense, etc. I just want gory action, and laughter from intention, and stupidness. And that's exactly what Robert Rodriguez gave me. I had such a great time in that movie, even when there was no action the people in that movie gave me something to laugh at or keep me interested. No matter what anyone says, I Freaking Love this movie!!!
