Matinee. This movie is a little worse than the first National Treasure movie, but not by much. They try to make sense of Nicholas Cage's character being related to a person who had something to do with Lincoln's assasination and to a certain extent, they acomplish it. My faviorite character in this movie is Riley because he knows so much that it's almost ridiculus and funny.

I am one of the few people who liked the first movie. I thought it was admirable that they managed to touch on some historical facts throughout the movie. If you're in grade school/elementary school and have just learned some of these things it's nice to see them in a movie so you feel like you've learned something. As for the second movie, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't as good. Some of the sections (Great Britain) were good. Others, like the tunnel and the president and the ending were rather bad. The audience the theater I was in liked it.

well, to be honest. lincoln's death was actually a good thing in american history. though an assasination is sad. but, later on in history it turned out to be a good thing. for idiots who think they'll get some history lessons from a movie are stupid. you want to learn history? get a fuckin book and read!

If you want to see Nicolas Cage in the WORST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. Rent "Vampire's Kiss" (1989). Worst movie EVER!!!

I'd have to agree the Nick Cage's movies have been steadily going downhill for the last couple years. I enjoyed the comic book motorcycle thing but I went into that not expecting much. I'm also not overly impressed with his new grill.

Prsonnaly i've nothing against Nicolas Cage, but i 've recently found his films in degradation. I'd like him to keep himself away from any critics to remain among the best stars.

Yikes mixed reviews from all. Well guess it wouldn't hurt to take a peek, although the entire premise seems stupid

This movie wasn't as bad as I thought, I would give it a mild matinée. I liked the first one better.

I saw this movie on a dare, and I have to say, Leon, you're right on the fucking money, except for one thing. This movie will NOT be playing on a loop in Hell because even the demons doing the tormenting down there wouldn't be able to suffer through such a ridiculous piece of shit. This movie isn't just stupid, it's 'stoopid'. I can't believe that anyone can enjoy this shit. There was a guy huffing paint a few rows behind me and even he thought this movie was fucking retarded. Movies involving puzzles and mysteries are one thing, this shit is just fucking ridiculous. Puzzles and mysteries follow logic and reason, the shit in this movie is 2+2 = 22.

I have to say: I disagree with you guys. I am a very big fan of the first one. Even though the material is, for the most part, untrue it is an American history nerd's wet dream. Plus if you like puzzles and TREASURE hunting it's hard NOT to find it enjoyable. I thought they did the best they could with the sequel and I was very much entertained, but I DO wish that they would have left the first one and its amazingness alone and not of made it

I actually liked the first movie but this looks like a piece of shit cash in and another crappy movie for Nicholas Cage to add to his collection.

This movie looks so fucking stupid, that ten second clip you played of it actually lowered my motherfucking IQ. Thanks a lot Nicolas Cage, now I'm just four points away from being as incredibly fucking stupid as you are. I can't even tie my own shoes anymore!!!
