  I definitely think this movie ruined Eddie Murphy's chance at winning the Oscar for Dreamgirls but I didn't hate it. I actually got quite a few laughs outta this movie. I give it a low matinee.

  Im sure my opinion would have change on this movie but since I have seen this when it first came out. To tell the truth as I remeber correctly I did not HATE this movie I just thought it was alright. But I do know for a fact that when the movie was over I reliezed that there is nothing special about. Eddie Murpy did really good in this film but I think that the concept of a skinny geeky guy and a fat women that are together is not funny at all. I would have to give this movie a LOW RENTAL!

  I was so surprised to find someone who actually thought that this movie was the funniest ever made (I am not making this up). I was so shocked that I was unable to talk. I wanted to drag him to the local Rogers, Blockbusters, and all the other rental movie places and show him the tones of DVDs of this movie still sitting on the shelf to show him that the stores are practically having to give it away it is so bad. P.S. I agree with Korey and Murphy that the actress (from what pictures I have seen of her) is way too skinny.

  You know what I'm just going to say it. This movie sucked. It was not funny I mean maybe I did a little giggle from time to time but that's it. You have to admit though that Eddie MOurphy did a good acting job when it came to switching between Norbit and Mayleen(or whatever the fuck her name is) who are both completely opposite but Edddie Murphy is one of those guys who seems to think he's still funny so that's why he keeps being an actor. BUt yeah I did not like this movie it was a complete waste of time and if it wasn't like 3:00 pm when I watched this then I probably would have just fallen asleep. I give this a very horrible 3/10

  I agree that the make up looks like it is amazing but that is about it. I have a feeling that people were trying to ensure that Murphy did not get an Oscar so they decided to release the movie when they did.

  I wouldn't call this "crap", but it was rather a let down. It starts out entertaining and gets increasingly boring as it goes on. Eddie Griffin was about the only thing that brought life to this movie, I love that guy, his car plate even said "Sellin'ho's" in this movie, hes always a pimp and its always funny. But back to main story, its just too predictable, decreasing funny as the movie goes on, with a fully predictable ending you can guess right at the start. If anything, the movie has some decent acting, and some comedy that might entertain you, just don't expect much of a story out of it.
