I can't believe how many of you hated this because it's simply not a full on comedy. I thought this movie was alright, but after reading how pissed some of you have gotten, I've decided to like it a lot more. Anything that angers dumbfucks works for me.

I simply hate Seth Rogen. The guy is not funny. He did ok on the 40 year old virgin, then people started saying that he was "one of the best comedians of his generation". If Seth Rogen is in a movie, count me out.

I actually completely disagree with you guys here. It's a dark comedy/character study. You can't judge it solely by the number of times you laughed. I think this is the most underrated movie of 2009.

Didn't like this movie at all. I was disappointed in Seth Rogen, it had the potential to be a lot better. Rental. Movie Questions

This movie was more ugly and vulgar than funny. I like Seth Rogen, but this is not his best role. There was a good laugh or two, but still, there were just chuckles. I cringed more than laugh. I would give it a low rental. It is better than Paul Blart Mall Cop.

Well, I disagree with you guys on this movie, although I will acknowledge that the movie was advertised wrong and was poorly timed in terms of release (two months after "Paul Blart"). I thought it was actually refreshing to see Seth Rogen in a role where he doesn't play a likeable guy. In fact, I know people like Rogen's character in real life, minus the mall cop job (fortunately). So if you go in expecting a laugh out loud comedy, you'll hate this movie. As a comedy/drama film, I would rate it a matinee.

There wasn't anything in this movie that made me genuinely laugh. Probably the worst movie Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen have been associated with. SOME OL' BULLSH*T!!!

I give this movie an epic flying fuck you with both my middle fingers high up in the air. I'm not the one to take movies too seriously but this was the first movie that made me physically angry. I felt so pissed off by the time it ended. I love Seth Rogen but this movie sucked. There is nothing funny about it. I wanted Seth Rogen's character to die by the end of the movie but when he got the girl at the end I wanted to lift a baseball bat and smash it through the movie screen. Argh.....

Anything mall cop related is pure rental or download. This was better than what his nuts from King of Queens. Seth Rogen was better than him.

I thought this movie was a great improvement on The Foot Fist Way (Jody Hill's first movie). To me this was hilarious- even though Ronnie (Rogen) is creepy, delusional, and disturbing, to me I felt bad for him and I liked him. Idk maybe it's my dark sense of humor. I give this movie a FULL PRICE! This is one of those rare reviews from Spill.com that I disagree with.

The character is unsympathic, scary, disturbing, a bit lame and a rapist. Yes, this DOES mean I will not like him. I liked Ledger's Joker as a villain, because I wanted Batman to take him down. Hard. I cheered when GORDON took him out. This movie is not the comedy it was advertised to be, it was not entertaining and the dialogue was similar to a National Lampoon movie movie if directed by Rob Zombie. Magi Rating: -6

There is another thing that this and Paul Blart had in common, both girls that they wanted came off of a scary movie type thing. Anna Faris from Scary Movie, and Jayma Mays from Epic Movie

I am one of the few people who enjoyed this film and think its unfair that just because Ronnie is an unsympathetic and most times disturbing character, doesn't mean you can't like him. RE: Ledger's Joker, De Niro's Bickle, and some how about some good old shakespearean characters like Macbeth. While Rogen's part is more farsicle than anything and the humor was extremely dark... it's just a fat guy's penis, grow up.

Well, there goes my aspirations of hoping for a good movie involving mall cops, that I never knew I had until these two mall cop movies came out.

This movie goes along with my dark sense of humor. Anything thats shocking or offensive can be made funny, and I think they did a decent job here. Although I do have to agree the laughs came in sparsely. But I did think the movie was funny. Seth Rogen played an immensely unlikable guy for the first time in a while, and I liked it. I didn't want to like this guy, and I didn't. But thats the point I think.

I saw this movie the other day. I am starting to think I maybe messed up in the head or something... but the movie kinda had a slow pace for me. I read reviews and listened to this one. And I thought I was coming into one of the most disturbing movies ever made... Well, I didn't get that. I thought it was freaking funny as hell and wasn't as bad as people had said. I just don't see whats so disturbing about the picture... I really don't.
