I loved this one a lot better than Casino Royale. That was sick as hell the way they opened the movie with an action packed car chase sequence. Even though it was shorter,It had just as much action if not more. The action scenes were more intense and action packed. It did resemble a Jason Bourne film, but i felt that was a big advantage for this film because it was just 1 hour and 45 minutes of bad ass, intense action and James Bond going around kicking ass and taking names(Unlike Casino Royale where he kicks ass for the first hour, spends the next 40-45 minutes playing poker, then only spends the last 40 minutes only kicking ass in a few scenes). I actually prefer this new ass kicking James Bond(As apose to Pierce Brosnans Bond, who had no fighting skills whatsoever). So, this movie gets a full price rating from me.

I totally think this is a mantinee. Its a good film don't get me wrong. And in no way is James Bond a pussy like Leon claims, but this film is WAY to much like a Bourne film. Don't get me wrong, the Bourne movies are great, but when I go to see a Bond film, I want to see a Bond film. Casino Royale was a different kind of Bond film because it was Bond's first love, etc. But this one doesn't really resemble a Bond movie that much. I agree with Carlyle, I love that they developed the relationship between Bond and M. But I want the series to go back towards a Bond film, not Bourne. I'm not saying Bond has to drive around in a castle of ice in an invisible car. But I WOULD like to see how Craig would pull of the flirtatious relationship with Moneypenny, or destroying R's gadgets, and yes, maybe a little one liner here and there. It is a good movie, but if you compare it to other Bond movies, its FAR from the best.

Full Price. It definitely had it's weaknesses but those were out weighed by its strengths for the most part. Daniel Craig is a true bad ass in the role and takes it to an edge and grittiness that would make Flemming proud. The action scenes are impressive but I will admit some times I forgot I was watching a Bond movie and thought I was watching a Bourne flick. They really did rip off the visual style of the Bourne films. I thought the villain was solid yet at the same time unmemorable when compared to some of the Bond's classic baddies. The Bond girl in this I actually thought was one of the best in a while. She was very attractive but also had her own arc and story that paralleled Bond's nicely. I do agree though that it was some bull sh*t that he didn't hook up with her by the end. If this was old school Bond he would have been with three women by the end credits. In this one he barely is even with one. Oh yeah they supposedly hook up but we don't see any of it. Not even a make out scene. What ever happened to the sex in Bond? Anyways this Bond girl was an improvement over the last several ladies. I mean we were screwed with Denise Richards and Halle Berry even turned in an awful Bond girl performance. I was also very unimpressed with Eva Green in the last film which hurt my investment in Bond's thirst for revenge to some degree. Her character just felt way too soap opera dramatic and I didn't buy that Bond would have fallen for her as bad as he did. Anyways, It was missing some very key ingredients. As I listed the very toned down sex in this film is anti Bond. Sex is a huge element of the formula and why is it that I see more nudity from Daniel Craig in these new films than from the Bond girls? Also the film really is taking it a little too seriously. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for making Bond darker and more realistic. But this time around he way too serious. Bond is supposed to have a wit and sense of humor even in the most dangerous of situations. The character felt a little incomplete to me. He had the danger and the physicality. Maybe a little of the attitude. But where is the famous Bond wit and humor? Also they should consider bringing Moneypenny back into the mix because her playful banter with Bond was always a highlight. I think they should continue to keep the gadgets to a minimal but I do think it's time to bring in Q. Everyone looks forward to the Q scenes in a Bond flick. This was a solid action film but it wasn't necessarily as a solid of a Bond film. Still full price though.

meh, didn't care for it much myself. The bad guy wasn't much of a bond villain or even a bond henchman. The editing of the action scenes made me wish I had motion-sickness pills. I couldn't see what was going on and how did he take out that plane exactly? The ending wasn't very climatic - I thought that was the end of the second act and he was going to go on to meet the major bad guys in something more interesting than an explosive hotel in the middle of nowhere.

"Now if James Bond won't fuck you, that means you got a penis!" LOL, I totally agree that she wasn't a very good bond girl. Disagree about the action scenes though, they had me feeling a little claustrophobic but they were still very engaging and they had me curious how he would get out of that situation.

Just got back from seeing this and loved it! I saw it in second running so I paid threefifd', but I would not have been upset had I paid full price, it's that good. It was one of those Bond movies that had you walking out wanting to be Bond. I like the fact that it was more reality based and not so far-fetched as 'Moonracker' was.

There were some very good action scenes and the scenes between M and Bond were great. But the editing needed work it was a huge rush then stopped for long intervals and then back to rush. I with agree with the spill crew I didn’t like the bond girl. She bored me and Bond had to constantly save her. I was very confused by the ending. Overall I had let of fun and I give it full price.

I really, really enjoyed this movie. Even if you don't get the plot so well, you can still look at all the hot people in this movie... Bond, the Bond girl, the villain and the girl who sleeps with Bond etc. And they didn't refer to it in the review but the MUSIC kicks ass!

I loved this movie it was a nice refreshing start for James Bond. Meaning that there are no weird things happening such as space stations or underwater lairs. I really was entertained by the notion that with this movie took the plot on the bend of what will happen to 3rd world nations if they hold back the water supply from the native people and only sell it to the wealthy since oil is nearing its end when it comes to crude oil that is. Any way I felt that this movie yes was very action pace and that there were no real moments where the film just stopped I agree with that but it makes sense seeing as in real life there are no moments for you to pause in when in this kind of work. Also I have no favorite Bond, its like Doctor Who in that every new actor on the show who stars in the lead role brings something that will continue to bring something new to the franchise. Also Thanks for the love Spill.

LOL way to go Korey, dropping the People's Elbow like that XD Isn't Bond supposed to be cool and suave? I mean considering he lost that chick he loved I suppose I understand why he ain't screw her (aside that her having a penis thing, you know). But running, being sweaty and crap... I am not liking this new Bond >.<'

I honestly love this film. This movie is definatly better than Casino Royale. I like the plot and love the action scenes. The only complaint is Bond needs to have more sex scenes.

I had to watch this film twice to know what the hell was going on. And i had imdb.com up on my iPhone during it so that i could keep up with the characters they were talking about from the first one! I did like it, not as good as the first though. http://www.bluestagstudio.co.uk” >Website Design Cardiff
