Tonight I brought over [rec] 2 to show to my friend.  He didn't want to watch it because it was subtitled.  Pissed me off so bad!  so i just watched it by myself.  Such a great fucking film!

    Rec was better imo,
Had less time in the firestation and fillers
one thing i liked about quarantine was the effects on the door when they enter the appartment  building ..
but yeh original was better ... again

why dont u guys ever make reviews of original movies?

Full Price, one of the most underrated horror films of the decade.  And yes I saw REC and yes it was great as well.

Ignorant Wanderer, where the HELL did you buy a DVD for 60? Seriously? Ignorant is right. I liked the movie, it wasn't very scary but it kept me interested. After watching this though, I really want to see the original.

it's almost the same with REC. a rip-off? i spent freakin' 60 bucks for the gaddamn DVD. Me and my girl-friends wanted a real horror show to scare the shit outta us and one of my friends was like "hey, my brother saw the trailer on you-tube and it was really scary." it's not even scary. it was like funny and stupid at the same time. i was laughing the whole time, can you believe it? 30bucks gone...(i paid half, a friend paid half) when i could actually just download it. this is so effed up.(situation, i mean)

why the hell does Jay Hernandez always have to play a fireman? still kinda cute though, had a crush on him when i was a kid.

The ending was retarded, "i dont think he can hear us or see us, so instead of waiting for him to go back into his hole, lets try and escape without him noticing while i am still holding this F@CKING Camera." the reason they had that fire department thing at the begining was added in because otherwise it would have been a 1 hour movie. some ol bullshit with a curly on top

HIGH RENTAL. Being a huge zombie flick fan, I liked many elements of the film. I would have given the movie a FULL PRICE had it not been for the shaky cam. Also, the girl way over acted with the screaming and crying during the final third of the movie; it just became damn annoying.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I LITERALLY HATED THIS MOVIE. It literally drove me crazy trying to watch and focus during the whole thing. It was just as bad or worse than Cloverfield. I actually wrote a letter to Blockbuster requesting they remove Cloverfield from their shelves. I give this movie the finger and that is after I put it in my nose and my ass.

r u fucking kidding me ?, this movie fuckin sucked, even thoe I hated Dark Knight, I thought Dark Knight was better than this piece of shit. This is not some ol' bullshit, this is a FUCK YOU!

This movie is shit yeah the idea that the people in the movie film it with there own cam is a cool idea but then you cant see shit half the time. Save your money watch land of the dead or dawn of the dead close your eyes and there you go you have watched Quarantine.

I watched REC right before going out to see Quarantine and i have to say even though its minor thingsi thought REC was better but Quarantine was still AMAZING. and it has been anounced that there is supposed to be a REC 2

It wasn't that bad I guess. Acting was good at the end. Well at least it freaked me out enough!

this has some things that weren't in Rec that added to it. I thought the plot idea made more sense. Recs didn't cut it for me. Overall I'd give this movie a matinee cause even though it made me think it was fairly dumb. I think the big screen would add a factor that would make it better. Not scary. Great plot and camera concepts. Just not executed to complete perfection. A lot of what I wanted to see got cut off and the ending was very anticlimactic. definitely a very blatant rip-off of a remake. If you don't mind captions watch Rec first and you'll see what I mean.

I was a bit skeptical of this one, but I'm glad that it turned out alright. Jennifer Carpenter is so great in thrillers - she's not shy about doing whatever it takes to set the right mood. She was down right terrifying in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose".
