    I really didn't know what to expect when I picked this movie up but was definately impressed by the amazing story line, very different from your usually animated movies, different setting out in the wild west and taking you on a journey of high and low expectations and plenty of suprises, not just comedy but a whole mixture of emotions so it definately scores high in my book for one of the best family movies of the year.

    I just watched this last night with my 6yr old granddaughter and im kicking my self i never took her to the cinema to watch on the big screen,it was a joy to watch! The animation was gorgeous, the characters looked so good, some of the best cgi iv seen and it kept my little one quiet for an hour and 3/4s which is really hard so full high price.And who cares if it rips off chinatown it had lots of little homage moments and it was funny i liked the little HST moment brilliant

    Hell, even SPOGEBOB does it too, except everything becomes a cartoon if they're under the ocean, and it's pretty much the Micky Mouse of nick...

    It's not a problem, just their premise which they've done pretty good.

    This is one amazing film. you will love from start to end. Some fantastic shots and beautiful animation. Also, lovely voice acting makes this film absolutely entertaining. The storyline was a bit weak but for a family film. it was one damn good film to watch.! Full Price!

    I'm shocked that so many of you loved this movie, I took the kids to see it and wanted to stab my eyes out with dull pencils it was that tedious. First of all, I love Johnny Depp AND most animations, but the plot to this film was so ungodly boring!! The kids loved it, but I lost interest quickly. The animation was wonderful, brilliant and full of surprises, but unfortunately, a movie is all about the plot....

    I'd give it a Matinee. It was entertaining but it totally ripped off the plot of Chinatown. Sorry, I mean "payed homage."

    I am going to start out by saying that I hope this movie wins the Oscar for Best Animated Picture for 2011. Very few times can genres be mixed and work this well, What works so well about this film is not just the animation and entertaining plot, but the way the humour is blended in as to not take anything away from the level of tension that some of the scenes build. Timothy Olyphant has a great cameo in here that I won't spoil, but I stood up in the theatre and yelled "Fuck yeah!" Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski have done a fantasic job putting together a film which kids and adults as well will all leave with a smile on their face. One of the few flaws with this movie is that the main character, Rango, does tend to get a little annoying at times. However there is one chase scene in a canyon that made me not even doubt what my rating was going to be. Full Price

    Bet if Pixar had been the one to publish this film it would have gotten way better ratings by a lot of movie critics.

    Saw this yesterday afternoon, what a brilliant, brilliant film! The characters, scenery, the Western them has all been portrayed so beautifuly... or not so beautiful with the chatacters' appearences, hehe :P  But they have such depth and personality, you grow to love every one of them. :)

     

    This has a strong chance of being the Film of 2011, and it's great too to see Johnny Depp back to his best. :) Rating: A high Full Price!

    This was a good but not great western.  I agree that this should be seen in theaters however I would not put it as a full price.

    I really enjoyed this movie, but at some points it did get a bit slow. Besides that, I liked a lot! :)

    Just finished watching this on the big screen. I have to say this is one of the best animated movies I have seen in a long time. I really enjoy that it was will to be different and weird. I loved the references and humor.Easy Better then Sex for me.
