how is it anyone's fault if this kid ran across the road at night...I mean the guy that ran him over wasn't drunk, but he didn't wait for the cops...what are the laws like in US regarding this kind of thing? Would you get the chair or lethal injection?

Like Carlyle, I have an aversion to depressing movies, but you all made it sound less like a downer and much more interesting, so I'll probably stick this on my rental list. Besides, anything with Joaquin can't be all bad. He's on a different kind of list.

Yeah it's kind of cute when you put it that way Carlyle heh But strange how all of the fantastic films come out after the summer blockbuster movies have died down

Martin F. - She's older than me. And she was older than me when I had a crush on her back watching Labyrinth as a kid. So it's like 12 year old me lusting after 16 year old her. THUS it isn't creepy.

I disagree with you guys here. This was just another BAD Joaquin Phoenix movie of 2007. Phoenix was miscast in this one, andn the only good performance out of the entire film was Mark Ruffalo. Also, it wasn't that touching like "Things We Lost in The Fire", and it was just trying to hard. I'm, sorry, bad this was a bad film.

You guys need a new rank Girl Movie cause you guys went on girly girl on it,,,except you Korey the 'run down the little bastards was cool and man like'. But seriously this movie just show the pain truth the media denies all the white on white violence. Since as we all know it always white middle class children that get run down by other white middle class people. In real life the cops would have grabed some random black. http://legacymag.net/ashylarry/ashylarry4.JPG Declared him the killer and we would have moved on it.
