Look i love violence just as much as anyone but for F* sakes violence isn't entertaining when there is no reason for it.   Ok so Zeke the disgusting part of the Saw series is not the idea of "guts, blood, and all that" it is the idea of someone who is going around brutally torturing people for a straight hour and 30 minutes for an audiences entertainment, there is nothing natural about that. I'm going to admit I did like the first Saw and I do like many horror movies, but they have to be in at least some good taste (I do enjoy blood and gore on several occasions). As a whole, movies like the Saw and Hostel movies (a.k.a torture porn that makes shit like Leprechaun Back to Da Hood look like 28 Days Later) are absolute trash, and anyone who enjoys watching people getting brutally tortured and (most of the time) murdered seriously needs to rethink their idea of entertainment. Movies like that would be somewhat forgiven if they had decent created more mystery and suspense not to mention at least a viable story (f.y.i putting twists in a plot does not make it a good story) and/ or character development. But the elements of those following criteria they do have are executed ineptly at best. There are much better horror movies out there with plenty of gore done right.

  I really like Korey but I hate stereotypes LIKE him that's perverted and can't handle gore, I mean bringing sex into every object and gore is just as natural as sex... or well, of course Saw is way above unrealistic but guts, blood and all that is what our bodies are made of and are not disgusting... but to the point, I liked this movie although it made me damn confused, Saw 3 will always be the best for me but this wasn't bad.   the reason everyone hates this is because they throw to much stuff in at once, ive watched this move almost 5 times and am still having trouble with the plot. plus, saw 6 coming out which might close off the saw sereis a must see, the goryiest yet plus we find out who has been helping jigsaw all along i give this movie a rental

  WHAT A MASSIVE LET DOWN! i love the Saw movies, i went to the cinema with alot of expectation. this was probably the reason why i hate it. you no in the previous saw movies at the end u get that chill in your body when all the clues fit together?, i got chills because the cinema was cold!! there was no surprise i was gutted! mind u the games were fun but they're getting stuck in the storyline! I WILL WATCH THE NEXT ONE AND PREY ITS BETTER LOL!!!

  Matinee loved the beginning, loved the end, loved the tests despite how proposerous they are, acting was good, loved the twist wasn't happy with who they killed off, didn't care for new characters, a been-there-done-that feel to it all.

It's just turning into yet another gorefest franchise with little or no point to it.

  seriously!! just kill it already!! i mostly watch these movies for the torture devices and 'realistic-ish' gore or atleast PLAUSIBLE gore!! but the hair pulling the scalp off and the skin peeling off so easily, not to mention the lack of any form of creativity that went into the other devices!! and honestly, giving jigsaw a clear origin kills it for me. they should have ended it the same way alien should have ended after the first 2 (or atleast by the 3rd)

  it's definetly not the best of the series, i loved the first one, the second was okay, and the third i thought was a good final film. but, i was impressed that they made a pretty good fourth installment, though i have no i idea where their going with this.

  I happen to be a real fan of this series, and anyone who tries to discourage me about it, well..I say "Go fuck yourself with a loaf of bread"...Now to be honest, I didn't like the first one, but I thought it had promice, The 2nd one happened to be a tiny bit better, enough to get me to get up and watch Saw 3, and when Saw 3 came out and I watched it, THEN it started getting good for me, so yeah I liked Saw IV...I liked the saw series because of its prime element of keeping people guessing throughout the series, like what's going to happen next it's like "I've gotta know, damnit!" and the other prime element...those crazy damn traps, man, it's like an architect's blood lust, okay maybe I won't go that far, but they are kinda wild, kinda encouraged me to build some traps, I mean, i've got people that I hate and reasons to "test" them.   'sigh' I love it when people use the word 'haters'....about as much as I like rectal surgery. I'm very much with Corey on this one. One true sign that a series is over when they have to do prequel films and semi-explain themselves. And I'll take this time to say, torture porn is about dead. Now while I do so love to watch people suffer, I prefer to watch the ones to deserve it, not some Joe Schelp that freaked out at the wrong moment or a guy that didn't pay taxes or some crap. If Jiggy was going to really make his point, he should have grabbed serial killers or drug lords...his 'work' is a joke, and so is Saw IV. Fuck Eli Roth.
