In no way is Sinister a good film, let alone a good horror film, it suffers from the fact that it isn't anywhere near being scary or creeps, it is your run of the mill generic horror film that relies to much on it's jump scares, the only part I found mildly creepy was as he was walking up to the attic, before the shot in the trailer where the face pops up on screen, which was an awful cheap jump scare, it suffers as well from being mind numbingly boring, I hate to say it and for how much I like Carlyle, but I came out of the cinema angry and felt I had wasted my time as I heard good things about this film. Some Ol' Bullshit, which may possibly stretch to a fuck you, and I really don't want to say this but I hated it

It is wonderful to see Carlyle again.  I discovered Spill.com and similar websites like it during a bad time in my life and they brought me so much laughter.  I must have watched all those videos within a month.  I enjoy everything you do and the community you created.

Holy hell this movie was terrifying. It's my new goal in the next month to slap anyone I know going to see PA4 and make them see this instead

I loved this review, guys! It's great to see Carlyle again and the surprise Cyrus at the end had me in stitches. Great job, and keep up the fantastic reviews!

I thought the your guys' skit was just so-so, no offense. I would have liked to have seen a regular review of the movie, but oh well. I'll wait for the movie to come out on dvd.

@Welshy; family member is sick. When he can do a podcast it's usually as a one off thing, when he happens to have some free time.

This has probably been asked many times and explained but I've been away so that's my excuse. What has happened in regards to Cyrus and why hasn't he been in any reviews with the guys recently? I know he's still doing his podcast but I can't recall a review where he was with the 3 other guys.

Okay, I finally had to make an account just so I could say this... Long time watcher, first time posting, blah blah. Over the past several weeks of video reviews, I have watched a DRAMATIC increase in the quality, humor, and overall entertainment value of the Spill crew's video reviews. Now I thought they were great before, but you have really raised the bar with these reviews Spill team! I find myself laughing my ass off over these reviews AND feeling informed about films I plan to see.  Way to go, and keep up the fantastic work!

Loved it!! Plus it's one of those rare reviews that feature Co-Host and Carlyle together. There's only two others that I can think of (There Will Be Blood and District 9).

*Apparently Martin Lottie just changed his username to max the black crusader while I was typing that, so it's his comment I'm referring to.

I agree with Martin Lottie , the violence was unpleasant more than it was funny. Ironic considering his Kenpachi dp. Your opinions also feel shoehorned into the premise and it doesn't mesh together comfortably. The idea for it is funny, I loved it when you were describing it in the podcast, even the beginning of the vid made me chuckle. I think what makes it not flow well is the comedic timing for some of it. I know how you feel about people hating on the new video reviews and being so uncompromising about it, I swear this is my honest opinion coming in open minded. Do hope you work out the kinks.
