Well what can we say Pietry and I both think movies these days are not like they used to be. Jon Chu did not direct a great film he directed a DISASTER of a film. As film critic's we are pointing you in the right direction and that is what we said in our article "DO NOT GO AND SEE THIS"

I hate dance movies. I hate romantic movies. This movie seems to be guilty of both offenses. To make matters worse, it's an urban movie with two caucasian kids in the lead roles, which is adding insult to injury. What, they don't get enough parts as it is?

I'm new and not to be all political but it's kinda fucked up that this site is the brain child of a black man that rarely gives any props to African American women. I was happy to see that Korey realized that this movie was a rip off but there's another movie out featuring an African American woman that's about dance (How She Move) and you guys didn't even bother to review it. I realize there's a "replacement agenda "(meaning there's images of White, Hispanic women and everyone else taking on attributes of African American women while there's literally a blackout of positive images of African American women who aren't a chromosome away from white) in this society when it come to the Sistah's...but it's sad as Hell black men decide to jump on the bandwagon. Truly hope that not the case dudes!

I wish they made dancing movies like the used to in Classic Hollywood (where there was talent). Now it seems like any movie with sexy dancing performed by poorly clothed girls gets made.
