I can't believe I forgot to mention the sinister message of this film's advertisements... take a look for yourselves...

And this isn't even the first hidden sexual reference they've done...

And one of the most dramatic, you'll be shocked you've missed it "You might remember the 35th Disney cartoon "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and its sexy character Jessica Rabbit. Well to increase her appeal, some animators decided to add some subliminal image of Jessica naked in the motion picture. This true legend was then a major factor of sales when the film went out on since-disappeared Laser Discs because it was at that time the only public technology allowing you to truly visualise a film frame by frame." by gametrailers.com on Jessica Rabbit.

You can even see her vajaja...

Co-Host can have whatever film he likes, but I loved this movie! That horse was freaking hilarious, and so was that song with the thugs! I loved it. A very high Full Price.

I completely understand Co-Host's attitude towards this movie, but I think that I liked it more than him. I'd probably give it just a regular Matinee. It's entertaining for what it is (and that damn horse is truly hillarious) but the songs are fairly forgettable, and it has such a "Come on, Really?" ending, even for Disney. It's,been done a thousand times.... but still, it was a fun ride for the most part.

I'd give this a Matinee. It was cute, but pretty forgettable.

I gotta tell you I would put this movie with the big four because I thought it was better than Aladdin. I was confused by comments about the music which made me think it was bland. Its true, the songs are not the kind you sing when you leave but they are good. I was very funny. Very beautiful. Very touching. There was a point around the end of the film where if they had made a brave cut they would have had a legendary film and genuine classic. They played it safe. But the film was excellent.

I loved this film, and I'm a dude. Of course, I'm also an animator, and technically speaking this is a visually stunning film. The animation is fantastic and the characters are just beautiful. The story kept going and never stayed in a lull for very long. Go see it!

It said "kill" and had blood in it. Just that in a kids film is a plus for me, they can handle this stuff. People need to quit getting up in arms about a little red sploch or the word death or die. It happens, stop sheltering so much. All in all, I adored this movie. Solid full price from me, maybe it's a chick thing, but I adored it.

I agree with Co-Host because the Rapunzel story is boring even the Aqua Teen Hunger Force version was just okay.

For the Spill Crew, pointless and interesting information. The hair does'nt need to be magic. Mythbusters did the hair rope thing and found it DOES work ;) It was the prison break episode if you cared.

The BEST part of the movie for me is when like with most children's movies, the parents who think their 2 or 3 year olds to see a movie like this and expecting them to sit still through the whole movie. Anyways my favorite part was when the child took off running down the aisle and the parent followed, and did a face plant. She was fine but no one wanted to help her out until about 3 mins after she fell.

@Stringer Bell sure anime does have adult themes but most of it's content is made in Japan and for the most part aimed at a Japanese audience, I'm not saying we can't enjoy Japanese anime content, it's just not the same as something that's more geared to American audiences

I'm still quite surprised that this movie did so well. I first thought that it would end up being something like Hapilly N'ever that bombed big time. Still looks cute, though =).

I guess I can be pretty glad there's a fairytale movie again (Chicken Little does not and never will count) but unlike Princess And The Frog, I'm not as excited for this movie because I'm not sure about the concept. It could have too many popular culture references, some of it looks too familiar to Shrek 2, it could try too hard to be funny-I dont really know. We'll see.

Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, disney is expanding it's cast of female protagonist, it's family oriented themes and made for kids characters is nice and all but when are we going to see an animated movie that's made for an adult audience, I want to see, what dark knight did for batman in comic book movies done to animated films
