Put two classic actors together, in any capacity, and you'll strike gold. Too bad the plot line couldn't have been more developed. Great scenery, and nice ending. I'd pay full price as well.

One of the only movies I've ever walked out on, and I walked out on it 40 min through. In fact I think the only movies I've ever walked out on were those where I missed the start so had no jist of what was going on and B-movies. They are both actors who have gotten stuck in a role. Morgan Freeman: The kindly old black man who is willing to help anyone out but will always have a part where he spazes out cause the other character doesn't listen to him. Jack Nicholson: The meanish cool old guy who ALWAYS is right about everything he is cause he's so cool. They both may be able to act but they really need to lose their repeating role

Having read bad reviews, I can only say whoever was responsible for the review has never dealt with loved ones with terminal illnesses. To be able to get a great belly laugh, share the sadness and empathy-2 totally different men from 2 separate walks of life. This is a healing movie for anyone knowing anything about facing the reality of a life soon to end. I wish my Husband had been given a Bucket List.

well actually i think this is the kind of movies that make you think about life, and at the same time lets you enjoy it while you watch it. I also think that this two actors work great together and you can see their experience and how they just play this characters so greatly, specially i've loved morgan freeman's acting lately.

I'll say this Morgan Freeman is the olny mofo that can be dead and still narrate a movie like he did in this one. Maybe he is really god, and the almighty movies are a cover.

This movie is so great, it provokes you different felling like happiness, sadness, joy and grieve. The story although predictable, it is also very touching and emotional. Two completely different old men, one a billionaire and the other a mechanic, are dying from cancer; they will become friends by sharing a list of everything they want to do before dying. The direction by Rob Reiner is excellent, he knows how to express an infinite amount of emotions without being corny. The cast is simply excellent, watching Nicholson and Freeman together in a movie is wonderful, their performances are flawless just as we are custom from them and the secondary role from Sean Hayes gives the perfect support to the main actors. This is that kind of movies which leaves you a smile on your face after it ends and a message of live your life to the fullest until your last day.

Yay for cinematic pancakes! Yummers. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, of course they carry the movie, no matter how good/bad it is, I'd see it anyway, just cuz it looks like they had a good time doing it and they have wonderful screen presence.

This looks like a great film, the cgi doesn't even bother me. It's a drama not an action flick

I totally liked this movie... I did hate all the green screen shots, but the writing and the acting is ssoooooooo good. It was one of the best movies I have seen this year.I took my mother to see it and she loved it. Korey,Leon: I was thinking man my body doesn't look like the wife and I am half her age. My mom even said she had a nice body... she was all wrinkly in the neck though and not necessarily the prettiest in the face... but she had a banging body. This film was like the best recipe it had just the right amount of insanity, gut busting laughs, tears, and awful green screen to make it work... the green screen was like having a little too much sage in your chicken and dressing, but throw a bit of cranberry sauce on it and bam! jump back and slap yo mama! Here! Here! (glass in the air) Morgan and Jack... We got it like that, I am on a first name basis with these guys. Morgan is my daddy's, sister's, cousin's, uncle's great grand mama's adopted son twice removed...(holding my head down voice trailing off as I say twice removed....

I really liked this movie ... I think Jack and Morgan really owned these characters because it was like they were facing their own mortality... They ARE both getting old. But something that wasn't mentioned ... although his role was small ... Sean Hayes was really good and added so much to the movie.
