This movie was so boring from start to finish. The CG wasn't impressive at all. Rental at best. I don't even think kids will enjoy it.

Rental. This movie bored the hell out of me. It wasn't till the fighting scenes where the movie started to get interesting. Every other scene, if it didn't have violence or fighting, it was incredibly boring.

@ Mariejuana The books Chronicles of Narnia weren't ripped off of the LOTR books, but this film was definitely ripped off the LOTR films. This movie sucked. They cut the running through town part, Trumpkin was lame and had no personality, and the Telmarines were designed terribly. It's good and well that they were Spaniards, but dang if the Telmarines wore anything but black. And then the king's crown looks like something out of the live action Sailor Moon tv show. But at least their helmets looked like cool faces. Meh, Reepicheep and Edmund's fight scenes are really the only things good enough to keep this a rental.

HIGH RENTAL. Being a total fantasy geek, It pains me to give this movie such a low rating. Too many times in the movie, I found myself asking "who is that and why is he doing that" Characters seem to have very little background and motivation. Why did the humans kill the Narnians? Are the humans good, evil, or somehwere in the middle depending on who is king? What was the deal with the guy who was second in command to the evil king. Two character just seemed to appear for no reason and tried to ressurect the ice lady from the first movie. I have not read the books, but this seems like a botched attempt at bringing a book into movie form. I loved all the creatures though.

This was not the 2nd movie, folks. There were several version made back in the lat 70's simply known as "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" that was created way before the Jackson LOTR films (although there was a cartoon Hobbit [Prequel to LOTR stories] movie some time ago as well, not sure if it was before or after the original Narnia films). I never read the books or cared very much for the movies, just thought it should be known that these can either be considered remakes or adaptations depending on how you look at it.

First movie was Matinee, this one was Rental It didn't follow the book at all, the battle scenes grew boring. the only think I'll give them kudos for was Reepicheep. Carlisle was right about the point of the movie, but it's actually explained and makes sense in the book.

I hate that everyone says its a rip of LOTR! I mean, Lewis and Tolkien were like best friends and I´m sure they inspired each other while they both wrote their books. Maybe it was Lewis that invented the living trees and Tolkien was like -Ah, I got to have living trees in my own book too. I mean, we´ll never know wich idea it really was. So we cant say that Narnia is a rip of LOTR And what if they would have made a movie of Narnia first and then LOTR... then we maybe would have called the LOTR a rip of Narnia... anyway, this movie was awesome and way more better than the first one!

Man if anyone like this one just wait until Voyage of the Dawn Treader. By far the best book and if the even come close with the visuals in the movie it's going to be kick ass. That one is next.

I thought his movie was really great. I liked it alot more than the first. It good for kids, but also great for adults too. I'm a real Fantasy geek, and I love pretty much everything about this movie, except, probably, the plot. At first there seems to be a plot then it's just action and fighting, though those seems were great, and they had great special affects. I give it FULL PRICE!!

I kind of thought the movie was BORING but it had a good story. The actors were bad at acting exept for the older sister who was pretty good lookin and the older brother was an okay actor to.

It was great movie! I don't understand why people said the main problem with the movie was the action! Well, thats what makes this one better. The first movie, it was good but it took forever to get to the action. This time, they are going to heavy action scenes! It isn't as good as Lord Of The Rings but its pretty damn good!

The second movie of The Chronicles of Narnia in my opinion is better than the first one. It is a film that defies the most creative imagination. It is full of action, adventure and the humor is excellent. The CGI are so impressive and the effects astonishing. The cast is practically the same of the first movie except for Sergio Castellito as King Miraz that by the way his performance was a little confusing because at first he seems the worst villian and then he becomes kinda weak. The for kids seems more mature and it notice in their performances. The movie is a little bit too long but it doesn't get tiresome. To conclude, the movie is enjoyable and entertaining, perfect for all ages.
