One thing i hate bout the film is the carrying forward of 60s racist attitude towards Asians. The scene where Kato told his birthplace was in China but Brtt said never visited Japan was really racist. Kato doing all the hero stuff while Britt takes the credit is (though supposedly iconic for the series) is just not suitable for this day and age. Villain is too steroetypical, and the fact they kill the bad guys reminds me of the 50s 60s era of comic book heroes. In short, they did take the comic book hero into the big screen, with all the excesses of the past era that really isn't appropriate.

I disgaree with spill team on this one, I enjoyed most of this movie.

I enjoyed the fact the hero didn't act super responsible and everything and tried to play things the opposite way, like trying to come of as villians.

I also enjoyed the car battles, the fights, the 2 main heroes and the villiian.

Overall I enjoyed it quite a bit even if it got silly or crazy at times.

Oh and I found it interesting that the heroes, weren't super heroes, it was the car which made a huge difference.

    Full Price!

This movie felt very fast paced in the beginning likt it was being fast forwarded in this montage.

The kato vision was cool but I just didn't get why a bunch of cars showed up in his vision, more like asian vision to cause more car accidents and dont take no offense because im asian.

Oh and Cameron Diaz is super wrinkley in this one.

I thought the movie was decent. I dont really care for Seth Rogan but he can defintly can pass as the goofy action hero. The action was pretty entertaining , espically the Kato vision scenes.

Needles to say I going to go see it anyway. regardless of what criticism has to offer. Haven't seen it yet but I'm feelin a fun vibe from it overall. I get the feeling that you guys really liked this film on some level despite all of its flaws. But I think Gondry is one director who tends to transcend his own flaws by making light of them and somehow creatively working them into a stream of consciousness that ends up in the final cut of his films. I could be wrong here because I haven't seen it yet. I will find out tomorrow.

I think this movie was quite underrated. The action was really good and there were alot of funny scenes which the whole audience laughed at. It might not be a masterpiece but I was entertained enough to give it a solid Full Price, the only problem that really bothered me was that Seth Rogen's character never really redeemed himself.

Otherwise I strongly disagree with this review, still good going guys!

Ain't that bad. If you like The Green Hornet give it a low matinee. If you have no idea who the Green Hornet is it's maybe a high rental. One of those have a few beers and try not to let Seth Rogan's character being a giant dick. The action ain't that bad. Pretty funny at parts too but not the whole way through.

this was an ok movie. not great, but didnt completely suck. had some decent action. 3D is not worth it, dont waste the money. id give it either a high Rental or low Matinee, depends who youre gonna see it with

one kind of nice thing was the two little easter eggs to bruce lee and hearing the tv show's theme at the end, but then again, felt lame too for some reason

i will say it again, it stays true to the comic. Kato is better than britt as a hero, and everything else. best part of the review, the animated part at 4:28. high matinee

I watched it and I kinda agree. I gave this movie a matinee or a 7.5/10. It's true that the Seth guy is an ass. You don't like him throughout the entire movie
