I have not read the book, only seen the movie. But I actualy read that the way Anne Boleyn was portrayed in this movie (and I'm guessing the book) was not how she was in real life. Who knows, though, no one really can't place anything back then.

The book was much better, the movie was good but not special. L. GothBlackout Henry got fatter with age and also he had an accident that made him a little depressed so he had nothing but eat. The acting was good tho.

I've seen this movie and I thought it was pretty good, even though they replaced the fat Henry VIII with a handsome looking guy :P Other than that it seems very historically accurate to me. I don't know about the incestuous kissing scene though, there was a kissing scene which involved Mary and Anne Boleyn in the version I saw...

Having read the book, I'm really excited to see this movie. Honestly, if this stayed true to the book, it would be most deserving of a R-rating. They must have toned down the sexuality for the film.

I think that critics have problems with Spill. This got bad reviews, but Spill says its good. Horton Hears A Who got good reviews, but Spill says it's bad. What the Hell?

PG-13? I'm not so sure. But it could still redeem itself.

Natalie Portman's in it, so I'll probably watch it at some point. Think I'll wait for the rental though, just so I can fast forward past all that make-out shite.

Also, Henry VIII was supposed to have been very athletic in his youth. I think all the horrible living had an affect on his health

I thought it was a really great movie and my husband (though reluctant to come) loved it too. I would definitely suggest seeing it.

I'm embarrassed to admit 2 things when I went to go see this movie: First, I feel asleep halfway thru it. Second, even though I woke up before the final scene was over, I still didn't notice anything falling into the ocean. Then I remembered that I wasn't watching Cloverfield.

I was thinking about going to see this, but it could be kind of awkward going as a guy solo.

I've heard it wasn't like the book either. It'll still be pretty cool to see it on the big screen though. And i was under the impression henry the eighth started gaining weight as he got older, which would explain why he's pretty thin at a young age.

Who knows, maybe as Eric Bana character gets angrier he will get bigger... and maybe greener?

I read this book and I loved it. I have heard (not from any reliable source) that this movie is nothing like the book. I don't expect ya'll to have read it, but do you know at all if it keeps to the book? Btw, good work! I love watching these.
