  I really like this film...   as a popcorn film.

   I agree this not a great film, but I did like Depp. 

  Weather it's Depp or Jolie, one of them needed to be re-casted. Neither of them or the film itself deserve a Globe nom.

  This movie is absolute garbage. Johnny Depp was definitely a bit too goofy, but he was not the reason why this movie turned out to be such rubbish. Take the first 15 minutes of the movie, for example. For the year leading up to when the movie is set to start, Jolie's character has been going to the same exact cafe at the same exact time of day every single day, and every single day, the same well groomed, good looking French cops are also at the cafe. Let's not forget to mention the Mercedes mini van that has been parked about three yards directly in front of her table every day for the past year. C'mon. Am I really supposed to believe that undercover cops are that stupid? This movie asked me to suspend disbelief way too often. Some of the dialogue was gratuitous, the plot line was pedestrian, and the action sequences really left much to be desired.

   

  "Rental" and "Matinee" are really generous ratings to give such tripe. I'd have given it "Some Ole Bulls**t" or "F**k You". This was the first movie I've ever wanted to walk out of. So disappointed.

  i think the tourist was a good film but not the great film. the casting was right on. the houmor in the film is ok. nothing else. if i was in the spill team i'll get it a matiee. i hope that how to spell it.

  Think they miss cast depp and they were just trying to put the actors that they did in it for it to look good on paper but from this review it was a waste of time

  I'm suprised they done this kind of film. I would have expected them to blow most of the budget on the two main actors and then have them...Sipping tea or something. The film itself is very mediocre and unappealing, even with Johnny Deep. It's cliched in the bad way, it treats the audience like idiots, the plot is predictable, the characters we don't give a crap about...

  This is some ol' BULLSHIT. I mean it. You have to really work HARD to fuck up VENICE, ITALY. And somehow...? They managed to do that. I've been to Venice. It's the most ROMANTIC place on earth...once, I went there ALONE and still fell in love...that's how romantic the place is and they fuck it up with Johnny Depp acting and looking like an ass and can you actually BELIEVE they made us watch a close up of Jolie's ass???  While two nimrods are trying to figure out if she's wearing underwear or not? Who THE FUCK CARES???  Hello? Her day is lonnnnng gone and she never had anything but those LIVER LIPS no how. Skinniest bitch in the movies and men still trip over themselves...lol. Toooo funnny.  Anyways...the story was implausible, the ending predictable, and the acting was horrible.  Guess you all can figure out how I felt about this movie. Heh.

  I would just like to say that Spill.com Reviews are the my #1 source for movie reviews, you guys are hilarious and gets me really interested, and its great that you review movies not just by how the movie looked or how it was directed. You guys review by your enjoyment and do so in a way which is interesting and is just awesome. So thanks for the great reviews and entertainment. :D
