I believe that this film was tailor made for its very loyal fan base, Which also happens to be a fan base that contributes to 90 percent of the franchises profit margin. That audience holds an amazing amount of power as to what the films will look like.

The one scene in the entire movie that really threw me for a loop was the "Talking animal, Disney moment that came two thirds of the way through. Here the whole pack convenes on a hill and their thoughts are communicated to the people in the theater as spoken word. Even thought their mouths were not moving, indicating that this must have been a telepathic ability, it still played more like a talking animal kids movie. That one scene seemed so unlike everything else in the film.

I swear Edward Cullen is the creepiest romantic character in a movie for years!

Ok what is up Robert Pattinson's face?!  It doesn't look real in the trailer, it looks like they pulled the same technology in Captain America and CG'ed his face onto a body!

This series just hasn't been treated well at all and has been exploited to make money without actually caring whether the films are any good. Twilight  instead has easily turned out to be one of the worst jokes of the last few years. I feel for their fans but sadly this film (and series) is just one overlong bore fest with the same unneccesarily awkward acting and no real character progression. This one has one or two ok moments but otherwise nothing really happens.

What the Hell have you guys been doing watching shitty fan fiction version of Twilight? the REAL Twilight has great acting, story, pacing, and dialogue (see below).

Also, while what you guys said about Twilight and Transformers were true; Transformers movies are still better than Twilight movies in general.

I just saw this month and here's my opinion:

I read all four of the books, seen Twilight,New Moon, and Breaking Dawn Part 1,and saw Eclipse from red box.Breaking Dawn came with surprises that were not mentioned in the book.Like when Jacob jumped infront of the pack and told saw Sam "You kill her, you kill me." What was shocking was when Sam pushed Jacob and he changed midair like what happened when Edward pushed Jacob in part two.The character that I still dislke from the book and movie is Leah.

Wedding was great, honeymoon was great. Was not expecting the birth, let alone to see Bella wake with red eyes.I'm giving this movie a high matinee/low full price.I got what I wanted from part of this movie and surprises that I wasn't expecting.

If you want handsome vampires that do vampire stuff, go watch "Vampire Knight".

I just can't watch $h!+ like this. I just can't. I saw the one that came out last year because (I can't say why, but it was for someone else). The cuddly werewolves are lame, and the sparkly vampires show no characteristics that they are vampires whatsoever. The only thing good about these movies is seeing the reviews on spill. Also I hate the Bella character, there is nothing redeeming about her whatsoever.

I agree with Korey %100 except that I'd give this some ole bs. It's really a 30 minute short film stretched to 2 hours. And it's almost impossible to spoil what happens in it since we know everything that happens beforehand from either the trailer or previous films. Basically, (spoiler?) Wedding, honeymoon, pregnant, bella's turned.

We knew all that ahead of time and there's little reason to sit through more than 10 minutes of either event without getting to the meat of what I suppose is in the rest of the book. So, I'd say rent it next year before part 2 comes out if you really want to see what happened but this is a long and easily skippable chapter in the series. I don't hate the series but I can honestly say that this was a blatant and boring moneygrab based on material that didn't need to be broken into two seperate films.
