  Definitely gonna have to go with some ol' bullshit on this one. It's definitely one of the worst movies I've seen. As much suspension of disbelief as I normally have for action movies, I could not wrap my mind around half of the scenes in this movie. I tried to let go and just have fun with it, but it's hard to get past the blatant illogical "round square" kind of ideas and imagery.

  Anyone that thinks a bullet can "curve" has clearly never fired a gun. It is scientifically impossible to curve a bullet no matter how you shoot. And dont' ever get boozed up and try it with your friends because you can swing your arms any want you want to but that bullet is still going to come out of that barrel and go straight into your friend's head or you will miss and kill someone that didn't deserve it! The whole point of bullets is that they go straight you kill whatever's in front of you. The idea that a bullet can "curve" is a bizarre by-product of the Matrix Generation where we are beginning to believe that the Laws of Physics are more like guidelines.

  I really had fun watching this; i think it was a really enjoyable movie to watch. I know this sounds crazy to you but I believe there are some ways to curve a bullet. I wouldn't give this a rental, but I would give this a low matinee.

  For me it was something between Some Ole' Bullsh-- and a F--k You! It had no clue what the f--k was happening in this movie......confusing storyline at its finest.

  Very low rental. I was looking forward to this flick because I've been following James Mcavoy career for a while now and was glad to hear he was getting a big project. However I feel more embarrassed for him than anything while watching this. It was just bad. I mean everything from the story, to the acting, to the extremely ridiculous action. The action was so over the top that I got no sense of danger or excitement. You know that feeling you get when you watch someone play a video game and you're so bored just waiting for your turn? That's the feeling I had while watching this movie. Angelina Jolie is certainly attractive, but I am getting tired of seeing her in these action flicks. I just don't think I buy her as a bad ass. She just tries too hard it feels like. She does this face in every one of her action flicks that screams, oh yeah I'm just too cool. True female bad asses are the ones that don't have to try hard. They also show vulnerability and feminine side. Think Sigourney Weaver is Aliens. Yeah she was a bad ass, but she also had those paternal motherly instincts to protect that little girl Newt. There really wasn't much redeemable about this flick minus a few cool action beats here and there. In the end I just felt sorry that Freeman and Mcavoy got stuck in this crap.

  Just one thing to say about this movie....angelina jolie looks like a crack whore. I think she is a beautiful Woman and a Wonderful actress, but she really needs to see a doctor......besides it makes her look OLDER

  in the early beginning, the film seems to be a cliche action film, however in the mids It turned out to be unpredictable. The twisted ending is adoring for action film fans (like me)

  i went to see this movie in the theater. i didn't know about the comic, i didn't know anything about it other than james mc avoy and angelina jolie were in it. i went in after having a bad day. i looved it. the action scenes were silly and crazy. i wouldn't take this movie seriously. i am curious about the comic now.
