The unedited review of this & similar films like First Sunday are possibly the funniest things on this whole site.. I'd like to see Korey, Co-Host & Leon review every film ever made that contains Black Foolishness©

I really don't understand the harsh reviews for this movie. This was one of the most funny movies I've seen! I loved everyone in this movie especially Mike Epps. So what that there is "black foolishness" in this movie. Most comedies has some form of "foolishness" in it. For example, American Pie...a ton of "white foolishness." You and me both know that young white boys don't put their penis in a pie but that movie is a "classic" comedy film. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle was some Asian and Indian foolishness. You can't have a comedy without stereotypes and people being silly. The point of this movie was that Martin was running away from this family because he didn't feel loved or like he ever fit in. They were funny. This movie was funny and I was fine with paying the $9.25 that it cost to see it. Oh well. Get over it. Great movie: FULL PRICE!

How dare they. James Earl Jones? Michael Clark Duncan? To put such high quality actors in this movie!! Doesn't help that I can't stand Monique eitherlol

As a black man, I find these films necessary to allow The Man™ and racists like co-host to be lulled into a calm, so that they are looking the other way when it all goes down. This film will likely be considered the martyring of James Earls Jones' career for the cause.

I agree that it sounds like a waste of great acting talent (if you exclude Lawrence). Martin Lawrence seems to only star in lewd movies that should have gone direct to DVD. I'm shocked that Disney has him in an uncoming movie with Raven. I hope that it will not be a flop because of him.

I don't understand all the bad reviews for this movie. I saw it last night and almost died from laughter. It was the funniest movie I've seen in a while. The whole theater was in stitches, and even applauded at the end. I'll admit the movie was paced too slow, and there were some dull moments, but no one seems to complain about movies like Superbad, or Knocked up. Those movies are just as long and slow paced. Also, why is it that whenever there is a comedy that feature a black cast, people always label it as stereotypical buffoonery? Please. They are just being funny. If you are a fan of Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, or anyone else in the film, and enjoy some slapstick comedy every now and then, see it. It won't change your life, but you will have some fun.

Come on Korey, this movie wasn't too bad. It had me laughing. I agree with Luis, though. Monique was annoying. Aside from that, it had it's moments. I say it's a low matinee.

God, I HATE Monique! She's so damn loud and arrogant. I just wanted to slap the hell out of her in Soul Plane. Not to mention the rest of that movie. I think my reaction to her will be the same in this movie.
