I loved this movie the 2nd time around. Worth watching a 2nd time if you thought it sucked the first. Better then First Class.

There aren't too many movies that make me red with rage, but this one sure did. I agree with Carlyle completely; go tell it on the mountain, my brother! I wanted to walk out of the theater while watching this, I seriously did, but every time I stood out of my seat, something would happen in the movie that was so stupid, that I would fall back into my chair in numb confusion. Eventually, I gave up on leaving and stuck around to see just how dumb this movie could get, and on that front (and that front ONLY) I was not dissapointed. From the (obviously) fake death of Silverfox to the needlessly inserted comic book characters to Deapool having 40 inch claws and the powers of everybody (seriously, did a nine-year-old write this script?) to the adamantium bullet, this movie just got dumber and dumber as it went on.

Not only did it take a steaming brown shit on the comics that inspired this franchise, but it couldn't even stay consistent with the continuity of the other X-Men movies! Both the insertion of Cyclops and the adamantium bullet (into Logan's skull) were continuity fuck-ups that the movie willfully made that could not be explained away in the face of the other X-Men movies. (I could include Sabertooth in this topic as well, since Tyler Mane's performance gave no indication that he and Logan were brothers, but since Liev Schrieber's performance was the only saving grace this movie had, I'm going to let that one go) Let's break it down: the adaminatim bullet would have shown up when Professor X gave Logan the MRI in X-Men, but it couldn't since this dumb plot device didn't exist until now, and I can't believe that Cyclops (who acts like he's never met Logan before in X-Men) wouldn't remember the prison break in Wolverine because he was blindfolded? I call shenanigans. I call bullshit. I call this a terrible movie. Then I call an ambulance, because I'm about to pop a blood vessel.

In summation, FUCK YOU David Benioff, FUCK YOU Skip Woods, and FUCK YOU 20th Century Fox!

    Carlyle, you're cool for cats!

Rental ??? How do you make your rating pourcentage ??? Carlyle has the only appropriate reaction to this movie : This is Just CRAP ! Does someone know why Fox hates marvel so much ??? Why anyone who was working on the project (or at FOX) never bothered to read just one page of one of the multi comics they shamelessly ripped off. If next time, you don't know what to do with all the money you pulled out to make that intensely painful piece of shit, just call me !!! I know the Comics ! I know the Characters ! I EVEN KNOW THEIR FUCKING STORIES ! So please, before wasting another X-men spin off, call me :-) Putain d'enfoiré-s...

Well I had high hope for this film. Wolverine is my favorite comic book character. And Hugh Jackman is very talented actor. I thought it would be really good. It had it's problems, but I got what I wanted. Wolverine beating the $%!t out of someone. Matinee

This film narrowly made it as a Rental for me. When I think back to when I paid to see this in theatres, I just get weighed down with all of the really dumb things about this film. I don't even know that much about marvel. I hated the dialogue given, the cleched writing, the cheap and tacky effects used, the lack of emotion for these characters, the really tacky soundtrack, my list can go on for pages. About the only thing that saved this from being a piece of sh*t for me was the casting, as I did think most of the cast was chosen well for how well they can perform and how they match their chosen characters.

Low Matinee. I haven's read the comics, but i feel like this could be Wolverine's true back story. The problems are that the claws look so freaking fake. It's like the CG or whoever did the design for the claws didn't care anymore because they looked better in the previous films. The scene of Wolverine in the bathroom is really un-necessary and should have been left out. I loved the first three x-men movies, but this one isn't as great.

rental for me. it would be a low matinee for the pretty good action ,but so many good ideas and characters were misused that it made this a lot worse to sit through.

This was a huge Fuck you for me, so many plot holes, character changes, not true to the comics at all, and they could have had a way better fight between deadpool and wolverine at the end , if deadpool was ACUTALLY DEADPOOL!, he was so fucked up that was bs, the real deadpool has defeated wolverine in the past (In comics) and i would have loved to have seen that happen rather them he getting shot in the head with memory altering bulliets. Worse Marvel Film yet. FUCK YOU ORGINS!

i thought honestly this was better than X3 (which should have been aleast over three hours long because of all the different story lines going on and should have had bryan singer do it, because that movie skipped the phonix saga and went right into the dark phonix story line while at the same time removing the whole aliens thing and jean going around destroying planets, it also had the omegas, some of the morlocks, angel running around, juggernaut, a sentinal that you couldnt even see in the danger room, the brotherhood, the movie was just a mess and turned out to be a piece of shit, the best adaptations are the ones that focuse on one story line) because of the action and the dialoge was a little bit better but the story was about as good as the punisher war zone (which i liked alto), so it was better than X3 but still not to the perfection of the first two xmen films. bryan singer needs to do the xmen films, gavin hood, david goyer, and sam raimi can do the xmen spin offs, and the wachowski brothers can do superman.

besides all the spin offs, X4 (mr. sinister, acoltes, sentinals, and juggernaut maybe use the excutionare story line) X5 (hellfire club, mageneto, mystique, other brotherhood members that have not been seen, X6 (would be about the xmen trying to prevent the days of our future past and master mold) X7 (the brood, X-factor, havoc) X8 (mr.sinister) X9 (since they prevented the sentinal future where the machines exterminate both humans and mutants, apocalipse finally comes in after having a cameo at the end of X8) for the spin offs well most of you already now these but a few of these i just thought up, deadpool, xmen origins wolverine 2, magneto, xmen origins storm (could have the shadow king in it) xmen first class (cyclops, marvel girl aka jean grey, beast before he gets his blue fur, gambit and emma frost could fill in for iceman and angel, probably have the hellfire club, acoltes, and the brotherhood) cable could be in deadpool then get his own spin off which would be X- force, after X7 x-factor could get their own spin off, maybe xmen origins gambit bryan singer needs to come back and do X4, magneto, as many as he can, because i want to see the francise go back to the way the first two xmen films where, but obviously have more action than the other four xmen films.

I thought it was good because it did keep me entertained, but goddamn this film had so many flaws, the acting was good, story was ok, action was good. instead of a film (soon to be followed by a sequel about the japan story line) they should have either made this a tv show or three movies, the first five minutes could have been a entire movie (from the origins series) the opening credits could have been an entire film (threw the different wars, could have introduced cyber, omega red, and possibly winter solder) then a third film that could have been three and a half hours long dealing with the weapon X program and then the japanese story line, although fox should have made a series that came on at 9:00 so that they could actually show blood and guts. now the whole thing with deadpool i could completly understand (the first couble scenes with wade wilson where the best in the film, and at that point i thought he was and still is the most interesting character in the film and yet he got the least screen time in the whole fucking film) now i know it was the same character but that wasnt deadpool that was weapon XI he hadnt become deadpool yet until the end credits, deadpool film needs to have wade wilson rip those swords out (since they where not part of his bone marrow) his eye beam canons are burned out (so he'll use guns/knives/hand to hand combat) his telepotation should still remain (since in the comics he did have that but it was tech) give him his uniform and mask (since his face is fucked up) otherwise i will boycott the film lol. and maybe have sam raimi do it since hes good at balancing humor and drama.
