A matinee for this, but a rental for Step Brothers? I call bull! Step Brothers was about 100 times more funny than this movie. I couldn't even sit through Zohan. After about 20 minutes, my friend and I turned it off and decided to watch something else more worthwhile. I guess I can't really review it since I didn't watch the whole thing, but damn... matinee? Really?

I really liked this movie. I rated it 7 on imdb and would rate it Full Price here. I enjoyed parts like when he spoke to the kid in the salon and Israeli - Palistine kind of jokes. Did not like the foot joke, it reminds me a bit of the slapping around jokes of Scary Movie.

Yes, a lot of Adam Sandler movies have been real stinkers, but he does have a lot of talent Has anyone seen him in Reign on Me?

Honestly, I thought this movie was some ol' bullshit. In my perspective, it was nothing but a long, really bad crotch joke. I didn't really laugh through it at all, but I managed to give the whole thing a try. But it just didn't work for me. When it wasn't dull, it was just... disturbing. And usually I like crude humor.

My teenage son told me to pass on going, but did I listen? Nope. I did laugh through the movie, I rolled my eyes at some stuff, but it entertained us. I do think they were smoking a joint while writing it and it shows near the end! Got a bit stupid. Worth the cost of going??? I would wait for the DVD.

Matinee - That's my opinion. Beginning was very slow but the second half of that movie was very funny and well done.

People take films too seriously what did u actually think you were gonna get - i loved it - I loved the fight in the sea - and yeah it was a dick joke but who cares - sometimes its good just to watch a movie and have a laugh. Adam Sandler is great in this - definately worth a watch.

I liked this movie but I wish I would have just rented it. It was funny, but awkward in places. Like what...huh...well ok. He's great in the fighting, but...ugh I don't know.

I would probably give it a "Rental." Adam Sandler delivers a strong performance as the Zohan, but most of the movie does not work. Other than the fight scene between the Phantom and Zohan in the beginning, all of the funny jokes are in the trailer. I find the movie's humor to be cheat and easy to think of. The cameos by Mariah Carey, Chris Rock, and Dave Matthews fall flat. Furthermore, the movie's conclusion (it attempts to hit on political manners) comes across as simple-minded, hypocritical, and a cop-out.

Pretty funny movie, glad I went to see it. Not a great movie for the easily offended though.

For me, the dumbest thing was that he had sex with his friends mother and old ladies. Like what the hell is that? That's not even funny. It demeans old ladies like old ladies have no greater desire than to get banged by an Israeli, hairdressing scumbag. At first I thought he was just giving that guys mother a massage when he walked in on them. That would have been so funny, the misunderstanding of it a la Three's Company but no, he was literally having sex with that fat lady. The comedy of today absolutely sucks. The writers should go watch I love Lucy reruns or something to learn what humor is.
