God damn I'm 20 minutes in and this is one of the best ACOCO in recent memory. I thought "hey! a nice hour-long hangout with Korey and Leon..." is instead a 2.5 hour interview and conversation with a guest! It's like a LEOG-Do-This mixed in with these Cold Ones! Spill Stew.

Min 24:20 - Ohh, I've had Sam's! it's DAMN GOOD. First time I went there, EwokPrincess told me she knew of a good place, and we went. She walked in, and said "This guy's never eaten here before" and the owner said "All right, I'll get you a plate!" and he did. It was really freaking good, and in mid-meal he asked "how things goin? Hey, you ever had Mutton before?" I said no "well, you're eating it right now" Mutton is damn fine eating.

Yeah, Sam's is freaking delicious.

Min 31:17 - Sometimes a man's gotta mooch a little bit. There's no shame in that :)

Min 38:33 - I think that the crazy things these televangelists do, it's just to get people to tune in... in hopes they'll catch a sucker to send them money.

Min 40 - 42 Theyre' all @#$%ing Charlatains. All these TV preachers. I really feel sorry for all the people taken by them.

Min 45:50 - (was just about to mention NYC and Guliani)

Min 50:57 - THINKING THE SAME THING! Glad Burt's story isn't over...

Min 55:30 - (don't have anything to add, but damn this is facinating hearing Burt's account of all this. You gotta be PREPARED AS FUCK to make it in that business. Like a freaking obstacle course)

Hour 1 Min 00:45 - It's really hard for some people to take something artistic or emotional in their head, and describe it to someone else (let alone making it a request or command) it's like when someone tries to commission a peice of art or something, they describe what they want, and then when I show them what I've done, based on their instructions, they might say it's not what they pictured at all. It can be frustrating, I imagine even MORESO for an actor who has to take that request from a director or producer and IMMEDIATELY reciprocate. Damn.

Hour 1 Min 5:40 - HAH. :D "that's a great question! So anyway..."

Hour 1 Min 20:20 - I totally want to hear that intense Girl Scout Cookies Theme song.

Hour 1 Min 21:35 - I might watch the Parking Lot Security guards show.

Hour 1 Min 38:40 - (I freaking love it hearing someone get really psyched for someothing they're really interested in. Hearing Burt talk about the Aliens Special Features)

Hour 1 Min 51:45 - JUST BARELY under two hours, heh. Eight (& change) minutes shy of 2 hours.

Hour 1 Min 54:34 - You know I haven't seen The Office for about 2 seasons, but one thing that always impressed me with that show is that they have an amazing cast which is comprised of people who are actors, and other characters who worked AT the NBC offices (the woman who plays Phyllis was an office worker, and the guy who plays Toby, if I remember correctly, was a behind-the-scenes guy) and they were great characters!

Hour 2 Min 7:10 - The Theater of the Mind!

Hour 2 Min 12 - All right, Burt totally geeking out on Turtles,

Hour 2 Min 18:38 - OH SHIT. YOu said the magic combination word. Ghostbusters talk! Woo.

Hour 2 Min 19:20 - Hell yeah. there's two modes of thinking aobut that: it's true, there'd be widespread acceptance of paranormal research, but I think (and we see this today, especially) where people won't beleive what they see infront of them or trust what the scientists say, and still lean on ignorance and block them at every turn...

Hour 2 Min 19:40 - Wait, this happened? Or, is it happening, a work-in-progress? Where can follow this? Holy shit I wanna see this...

Hour 2 Min 22:06 - Holy shit this guy is speaking my kind of geek language.

Hour 2 Min 26:08 - DUDE! LEON! (not to use a pun regarding the Site name...but...) SPILL!

Regarding Bill Murray being half of Ghostbusters work - That's true, to a point... but There's a weight to the mythology, there's also been a lot of great Ghostbusters stories told which have been Murray-less (the cartoons being a big example) And while yes, Murray would be an enormous boon to a new Ghostbusters film... Like Burt said earlier in the show (and Korey and Leon have said in podcasts passed) anything can be done right. Coming up with a new story within the Ghsotbusters universe, that doens't necessarily have the ORIGINAL Ghostbusters, It can totally be done.

Hour 2 Min 27:39 - FUCKING A. Yeah, I agree. It'll be difficult, home runs will have to be hit, but it can be done.

Hour 2 Min 29:22 - For me (and a bunch of younger people I've spoken to who love Ghostbusters) it's a mix of a lot of things, but it's regular guys, using stuff they made themselves, being the first to discover new things, succeeding against adversity, ultimately saving the world. That's a huge amount of wish-fulfillment right there.

Hour 2 Min 30:39 - YEEEEAA LEON!

@mister tibbs i do not agree that his argument is valid because the stats show otherwise. If you are going to make a point to incite a response from the spill crew then at least make it a strong point. To not acknowledge the other side of that argument makes it a weak point. Based on what was said the impression i got was that the white fans are the be all and end all of the site. It is as if the other races who visit this site do not matter. If the white fans feel isolated them the site is doomed? His "problem" is just one sided. All i was saying is that the problem can be said for other races feeling that spill is becoming "too white."

The original poster claims that he had no ill intentions. That is fine. I just do not like when people hide behind the excuse of "i did not mean anything by it." Go try that in the real world and let me know how it goes.

I do agree with your last post though.

While Ji Wada's underlying assumption reeks of systematic racism, for that very reason, his agrument cannot be ruled out. It is best to bite the bullet and accept his argument as true. What are the consequences? People we would not want on the site are not on the site; I can live with that.

I'm glad Korey brought it up. Sometimes we make mistakes. We are not trying to say that Ji Wada is a horrible irredeemable person. Anyone can say or even do something that is perceived as hateful. It doesn't mean they are horrible people. We all need to know we are not beyond reproach. I just wrote, and deleted a comment I looked at, I immediately deleted it. It was WAY too mean spirited. I don't think you are a racist Ji Wada. Yes, we could have been more mindful and some (me) kinder with our words.

@darlinho I was providing feedback to spill.com. For example if spill felt they were "too" black, they might feel to reach a white audience with advertising more of The Loading Bar or LEOG. Spill.com is a business and as a business, they want to maximizes profits thus maximize hits/views. Turning off a part of your audience, in this case some white people, would be bad for business

I held myself accountable in this situation and many aspects of life. I justified why I said what I said in a logical format. I broke it down step by step. Even if it is not a "strong" argument, it never was intended to be that. Like I said before, it was an off the top of my head idea as to a "problem"(which is a valid problem for racists) spill.com is facing with an off the top of my head solution to that problem.

As for me being an idiot, you don't know me. You interacted with me based off ONE comment that I NEVER INTENDED to become anything. For all you know, this is just an outlier. And to say "I will not [...] take anything you say on this site seriously" is stupid. Judge what I or what anyone has to say, based on the information itself. You saying that is no better than me saying "I will not take anything you say on this site seriously because you are a nigger". Most importantly, I DO NOT believe in the problem I proposed. I merely identify it is a problem to some and I shared it with spill.com.

FUCKING CRUCIFY ME! Even though I admitted : I could have worded it better, I never intended it to be racist or hateful, I myself don't even believe it. I said it with the intention of HELPING spill.com. But i'm an unaccountable idiot so why take anything I have to say seriously.

Again, their humor is not "black" humor but a person's personality(which is shaped by many factors including race) will effect how they do and interpret humor. To me it seems you're simplifying Korey,Leon,and Billy to black stereotypes that cannot offer more than black foolishness,rather than looking at these people as human beings not shallow cartoons,that have nothing more to offer than "black talk", yes some conversations will mention race issues but there is more to them then that and if people can't get past that then they are missing out. @leon, i said it before and i'll say it again, I did not have a problem with ACOCO and I do not think spill is too black. The thought came into my mind that some people might find it a turn off so I mentioned it. Sure, i could have written it better but, at the time, I did not see how it could be taken as racism. Its like saying it is racist to comment that U.S. R&B or soul is very "black". The origins of that music came from African Americans. The only thing I said that would lead some to believe it was an insult would be the word "too". At the time, it didn't seem like a bad thing to say. If I could go back in time, I would say "very" or "extremely" or something like that. For example, ACOCO is very black since there are only 2 black guys on it.

Even then, the "too" was more referring to an over saturation of a thing. In this case, it was referring to a race. As a contrast, it was said on ACOCO and LDT that Billy was loud and a bit over powering. It would be fair to say that there was an over saturation of Billy. Does that mean Billy is bad since there was "too much Billy"? No. As such, I didn't think people would infer that I was implying that black = bad.

To understand why I made that comment even though I myself didn't think that way, lets look back at Billy. Personally, I loved Billy so I did not see him going overboard. So since its been proven to me that my ability to ascertain problems (such as Billy being a bit loud) is not 100%, I felt that the "problem" of spill being too black might actually be a problem, at some level, even though I don't see it as such. So I mentioned it tbh.
