    In a world where my computer would be working and I would be really bored, I would play Risen and Risen 2: Dark Waters.

    @Chaos Jumper

    A great Pirate game will elude us until Rockstar makes one (other than Sid Meier's)

    I haven't played many pirate games, but I have played bits and pieces of Risen 2. I had a greater experience of being a pirate in Sly 3

    I'll prolly check this out on the Xbox

    The absence of ship-to-ship combat bugs me in a lot of sci-fi rpgs as well. Actually I'd love to play space sim or a pirate sim on my Xbox.

    Ohh, so much hate for Risen?

    Playing it right now, and i really like it. It's far from perfect, but still a lot of fun. btw. for instand heal you have to booze up, threre's enough rum and grog that will heal insteand. Also, if someone tells you "Don't go there, it's to dangerous!" Don't do it. I found Witcher 2 was harder than this, but maybe that's because I played all the Pyranha Bites Games before and the Gothic Series was WAY harder than Risen.

    I liked risen 1, it was simple but it was a fun Eastern Euro RPG, with some neat lore peices and a decent setting. Aswell as just being some pure fun.

    I had heard the dialogue for this was top notch, and the setting was good. But the actual gameplay was severely lacking.
