Yeah, but is it 100% fact that all gay people are just perverted and have low standard, which is really a big assumption? That fact alone is invalid, no side to it. They can't be labeled as that and have strip of their dignity because they happen to fall under a category. They can't be open-minded as they're going against a simple basic fact.

Here's the thing... I do believe almost everybody falls into the former category. However, there's a fundamental difference between tolerance and acceptance. And both of these are a double-edged sword that swings both ways. The same goes with what is known as "the pretense of knowledge". I'm not talking specifically about gay marriage mind you. I am addressing the core of social and psychological sciences, which are in and of themselves speculative in nature.

That is to say, both sides can have get facts wrong, nobody is 100% sure, just be mindful to look at both sides before making a firm decision. That's what I think open-mindness should be about.

People are REALLY getting mixed up with open-mindedness and bigotry/ignorance. Now here's the thing, you don't have to agree with same-sex activity and lifestyle, but if you are willing to just let them live as a normal human being, thats being open-minded. When you have the ASSUMPTION that gay people are all perverted and prey on victims, thats being closed-minded and being complete ignorant as fuck. Especially relying on sources that is ridiculously un-credible, written from one-sided people who think they know everything!

I don't know why it still surprises that members on the site will go on gigantic hate speeches about all sort of poltical topics, but during the beginning of the podcast when Korey and Leon where talking about the members who went crazy against the gay discussions, It shocked me more how much I just didn't care about those members despite their views on gays being like tunnel vision. I have always had a "live and let live" style of living, but should I be worried about how little I care?

I've been to a couple of spill parties and can say for a fact that they wouldn't make fun of your friend.

Anybody who has been to one would probably agree with me. People of all ages/sizes/ethnicity come to these parties to have fun. I would even go as far to say that Korey is so nice to people to a fault. If you have the time (and haven't yet), listen to the recaps of the spill parties (Lets Have It podcast).

You want to see homophobic trolls just go to world star hip hop. I saw a video of Jay-Z saying he backed Obamas gay rights view & it was amazing how quickly the comments section rolled out on that video calling him a faggot. I hate to say it, I'm half black and was raised half my life in Africa (based in the UK now), and from my own personal observations, Ive noticed that THE BLACK COMMUNITY IS VERY HOMOPHOBIC. Not all but the black people but the ones heavily influenced by the old school Christian and/or hip hop culture. I may be straight but it still saddens & embarrasses me to see such hate been spewed by my own race and is something that really needs to be brought the attention of. (Maybe a gay rapper who can produce sick lyrics or something LOL)

Thats why I like this site. I feel KOREY & LEON especially are good role models (I know that sounds crazy) for young black & alternative ethnicity (& extremely handsome) guys like me.

SO THANKS KOREY & LEON AND THE WHOLE OF SPILL.COM FOR NOT BEING HOMOPHOBS.

Maybe you should start a gay rights campaign on the site. It could gain some good noteriety on the web.

I hate Disney's Alice in Wonderland, therefore I hated Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I did not know Dark Shadows was based on TV series, but I have gone back to Netflix and have seen a few episodes of the original Dark Shadows. With that said, since I was not orginally a fan of the series, I am one of the few people in the world who actually loves Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. I thought it was hilarious, even if the jokes were cliche, it was the fact that Depp's character was such a delight to watch, to see his reactions to the 20th century realm. At times, I was the only one laughing in the theater. I don't care, I love the film.

Korey, I read a previous post of you asking a fan of how you made fun of Christanity. I not your biggest fan, but I would have to defend you and say that you really don't make fun of Christanity. I have been listening for the last three years and I have to say Kat, and Korey have been pretty good about not bashing other people religion, but almost everyone else in your group seem to really love making fun of establish religion, or political parties that you don't agree with to an extent that seem obessive in nature, and that is really a turn off.
