I can't agree, Josh. Sorry. But, different strokes.

I guess in my eyes they never really make it to super hero or villain stage because it concludes so fast. The climax didn't hit for me as the movie was just starting to turn and I had no idea how they were going to solve it. I think you said this phrase in some other reviews but it seemed to quick fix it. Holy hell problem, oh fixed. I see what they went for with the choice they forced the hero to make but If he had done a more superhero move he would of unintentionally temporary fix leaving a open ending that I would of loved to see. I feel like that would of fit the pacing better than an abrupt end.
"The best thing ABOUT "Chronicle" is that it turns out to be a superhero origin story." To probably sound hypocritical this does make the movie awesome but I wish they took it even further so I could say it was the most surprising movie in a long time instead of just a movie that surprised me.

The only thing I didn't like about chronical was the ending becuase I was really hoping they would turn the movie into a superhero origins and then leave it open for a sequel. I had no idea I wanted that at all the movie completly came out of the blue and I was thougholy entertained but I was starting to piece together this ending that was going to blow my mind and then I got the actual ending which was good but felt off compared to the rest of the movie. Its definatly worth a watch if you have not seen it.

You throw out racial slurs when someone cuts you off?? WTF?! no.. i think you have some supressed hatred inside of you. Even Cyrus dissagrees with you.

The one constant in all of the Lethal Weapon films besides the great chemistry between the lead is that they all had very effective villains. Sure, Jack Travis from 3 stands out as the weakest of the bunch, but even he was fun to watch just because of how great Stuart Wilson is at being super slimy. My personal favorite Lethal Weapon villains are the South African diplomats from 2.

I never thought Brian was racist, but not knowing he was referencing a stand-up joke, I thought he was literally saying that everyone uses racial slurs when they're angry.

Thanks for clearing that up and doing a good show. I like hearing the crew's thoughts on older movies.

This shit was hot. I love this show.

Keep it up, you Bluray studs!

Brian was not trying to offend anyone from what he said. It is a proven fact that a majority of people say things when they are angry especially racial slurs. Don't believe me, Robert K. Merton proved this more than once in his research in a 110 page paper in the late 70s and again in the 60 page paper in the 80s. Don't turn around and say that things are different know because they are not. Another thing no one can judge anyone on this site because you don't actually know anyone that is on the spill crew unless you live in Austin and regularly hang out with these guys.

Love the podcast guys and I think it is time for this podcast to leave The Other Podcast tab and have its own tab on the drop down.

Great show again! I actually really loved Lethal Weapon 4 as well.

Also, I don't think Brian meant to offend anyone with what he said.  All I got from it was that he thought Mel Gibson hasn't done anything people haven't said before.  It doesn't make him racist or anything like that and you can't judge a person based on one little comment they've said.

Still love the podcast guys, keep it up

That being said, if my joke offended anyone I sincerely apologize. It was not my intention. Sometimes you try and setup a joke and it falls apart. That's the tough part about audio. Unlike writing, it's not like I can go back and edit it. I love you guys, and I appreciate the feedback. Peace.

For the record, and I guess I need to say this for a few of you, the remark about being cut off in traffic was a joke. It's actually a standup bit wherein the comic said everyone is racist in traffic. This whole "that says a lot about Brian" rhetoric I'm hearing only serves as proof that those of you using it know nothing about me. I'd ask that you be a little less quick to judge in the future and, for my part, I promise to be more obvious as to when I am joking. Thank you, goodnight.

@Behonkiss--I was actually referring to an old standup joke, let's calm down and not be judgmental. You don't know anything about me.

NO ONE should be maligning these guys on ANYTHING!!!

I always say "I love you guys" and "A great show as always". And I just did it again.

BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS xxx

One day, somehow and some way. I will meet you all in person and we shall geek-out on genre film - I'm particularly looking at you here, Lord Salisbury!!!

@behonkiss well I guess youve never said something the wrong way. Congratu-fucking-lations on being perfect and getting to judge everyone else. He may have misspoken but he's not a racist. He's a good person. I know that from actually knowing him and not judging him on an off-handed comment made on a podcast. Move on and be the morality police somewhere else.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person who loved Lethal Weapon 3 and 4.
